I would like to thank you Andrew I was finding a proper lesson for "would" bcoz I was always struggling as use "Would" You've relieved my problems thanks a lot
Thank you so much for your lesson from Vietnam 🇻🇳. I usually listen to your lessons for several times and try to rewrite it like this. You are the best teacher ever. Today I will study one of many uses of the modal verb “ would”. We use would to describe a refusal from the past. A refusal is an act of not wanting to do something or not agreeing to do something. It is usually used in a negative form of would. For example: My girlfriend was angry, she wouldn’t speak to me. Another example: A: why are you late? B: my car wouldn’t start. It means his car refused to start. According to the teacher, this sentence is very common when we talk about our car that in the past it didn’t start. I have a cute 🐱 cat, last night, I told him to eat something, but he wouldn’t eat. He shook his head 😅,he refused to eat because he was getting sick😌. That’s my lesson today. Could you correct my sentences ? Thank you so much for your help. Today is Wednesday, 14 September 14 2022, in my country Vietnam 🇻🇳. Wishing peace to all species of our earth 🌍

Hi everybody! Dear Andrew thanks for the video.
I wonder why you do not use commas in sentences, they are absolutely necesary for a correct structure.
José from Argentina
Some sentences structure is like
Would +be+ past participle such as
The cash that would be received when an asset is purchased by an entity
Mr.Anndrew, you have discussed all the uses of would.I liked it.But,what about present use of the word would.ex:I would say and what would be the fare to that place.p Siva Rao,India.(you have already mentioned there are other uses)
