Nice vid. Currently going to bed but next time I’m off ice I will give this a go! These sessions are always great. I always use the stickhandling drill video
I may be able to pull this off with some serious wishful thinking 😅. Your last challenge video was probably the silliest thing I’ve ever recorded myself doing, I couldn’t stop laughing because I was SO bad 😂. But hey, it was good practice. Keep ‘em coming!
I am a complete newbie to learning to play hockey and have been practicing my stick handling in the basement...but I need to ask a complete newbie question: is basic stick handling more of a drag-catch (keep contact with the puck) or a tap-catch (tap the puck and then quickly get ahead of it to catch it)?
I'm also pretty new to hockey, but I believe the drag-catch is better bc if you use the tap-catch, the puck will leave your stick. in a game, you don't want the opponent to have a chance to steal the puck. if you use the tap-catch, the puck will be free for maybe 1 or 2 seconds, and it will be enough for the opponent to steal the puck.
For someone who lives an apartment on the second floor, where do you recommend going for some off-ice stick handling practice? There’s nothing but concrete around here in LA.. No sport-court that is publicly available.

Tap is much faster but it depends what move you’re trying to accomplish
It depends on the situation in the game.
Hello! How do you measure puck skills? Where are the numbers?
Im 13 and I’m starting hockey and 13 I know to shoot the puck and control it but people tell me I can’t what you think

Concrete with a green biscuit is fine with an older stick!
@@hockeytraining thanks for the reply. Gotta find some smooth concrete because most of it is non-smooth black top or non-smooth cement
I use a green biscuit in my garage
Incroyable
