Thank you for making and sharing this. What a privilege to get an insight into this brilliant artist’s philosophy and process. Julian Pollack seems like a lovely guy as well as an incredible talent. 🙏🏼
Guys! That was awesome! That was super inspiring and motivating. I love this type of shows, J3PO is a hell of a musician. Thanks for making this happen!
Jef, what an amazing interview. J3PO has a very interesting story and his experiences with musical legends like Marian McPartland and Marcus Miller is mind blowing. Thanks for posting and putting this all together. Much respect
Love that answer on how to get better. Just gotta do the hard work. I watch J3PO vids for inspiration. That bit about adult learners hit the spot. I expect to get better but I can't practice with that mindset. You don't see progress until you look back on the MANY hours spent at the keys. And thanks for the backstory! I had no idea of the journey he's been on.
Great interview! Is there a tutorial anywhere to create the patch they're talking about at thirteen minutes? I have the Arturia V collection and I hope it's possible to pull out of there somewhere! Such an inspiring patch that would make practicing/playing so fun!
Heyyyy!!! It’s two, two, two of my favorite synth guys in one👍🏽and I totally agree with playing through your influences. You have to get it out of your system to get to your own style.
@@jefgibbons I could tell! It was written all over your face when J3PO started playing his Rev2 and pitch n mod wheeling 😁 and my face was doing the same.
This was really interesting, loved the track at the end and watching the workflow between you both. Have you ever done podcasts? Love to hear you talk music. :)
Great show Jef! Would love to see a Beats and Chats with Darius - Roche' Music label?? Not really a youtuber creator , but great artist. Or maybe Bad Snacks.
Finally ! My 2 friends together ! Congratulations ! A lot of fun and friendship !
Fantastic stuff and Jef so will played sir, you didn't allow yourself to be stiffled by Julia's ability 💜
