This is fantastic. Wonderful back stories, amazing playing/music, and cool/interesting descriptions of how some of the sounds are made. So many things here that I enjoy. I downloaded the Keyscape Creative library while watching the video and will lose many hours to it in the near future. I am a huge fan of Keyscape; it is pure gold - so good. And now I will have to purchase the J3PO patches for Omnisphere. I have both of his patch sets for the Prophet 6. For several months, one of those patches (slightly tweaked to my own "vibe") has been the startup patch on my P6 ... it is so perfect that I just don't go elsewhere. I really do enjoy watching videos with Julian Pollack (and now I know the history behind the j3po name!!). His mastery of both the musical and the technical aspect is phenomenal. Thank you Spectrasonics for putting all of this together.
Life has been crazy busy in the last while. But I finally bought the J3PO Omnisphere patches as I meant to 5 months ago. And they are really fantastic. Truly a bargain. I found the listening exercise on these patches to be very enjoyable. When I go through any new patches, I make a note in some fashion either on paper or in the app or whatever. With Omnisphere, there is the nice 1-5 star rating I can give, which works very well. I ended up choosing a “yes this is great and I will use this in future songs” option on more than half of these patches … and, for me, that is way higher than average. It is, of course, all very subjective, but I love the Omnisphere patches J3PO created. Thanks for doing the work and for sharing them.
i hope spectrasonics dont get tired of this question, but i’m waiting for omnisphere 2.9 update and omnisphere 3.0 hope there will be some updates in the future.
hi guys, Amazingly generous gift for us all who own the libraries and a beautiful collection that im sure will inspire us for years to come. Is there a list of the new patches with their names? Is there a downloadable list so I can see the new names released yesterday? I only ask because ive hardly had a chance to go through the original Creative content let alone the new stuff from a day ago. If I had a list I could start organising a thorough play through for myself. Cheers guys. Nobody comes close to the creativity of Spectrsonics...
