It’s a great sight. I used it for 3 years and briefly went back to pins and hated it. I can shoot from 5 to 40 yards without a rangefinder for distance. This inspires great confidence when walking through the woods.
Been shooting this sight for a long time and love it. The best way i can describe the experience of shooting this sight is that you become somewhat of an instinctual shooter. I have a hard time seeing pins due to my vision and this allows you to focus on the target and it really helps to calm you down when you're not trying to line up pins with peeps. Another huge benefit is if you walk long distances to where you hunt is it is very light weight and bullet proof.
Great video! I am relatively new to archery, I’m a late arrival at 45 years old, but I love it. I have the Black Gold Ascent just like what you mentioned, but I keep coming back to the EZ V videos. Would you recommend continuing to learn on the Black Gold to get better at the pin sights or would it be good to try the EZ V for better groupings? This sight seems to make more sense to me than putting a pin over what you are shooting but I am cautious about how simplistic it is.
Ok so you can go as deep down the rabbit hole as you want. Iv personally used, sold, and tested tons of sights since I started in archer 15 years ago. The best sight Iv found well that I personally like best is my black gold ascent 3 pin slider. But with that being said. I do very much so love my ez v. The ez v sight is not for grouping and shooting dots. It’s for killing. Which is ultimately the goal when we hunt. Although the more you practice with it the more familiar you become and the better you get with it. For you Ben. I’d say stick with the black gold for now and really learn to focus and aim small miss small. Then after the small finite basic skills are mastered. Then go for gold. Remember only PERFECT practice makes PERFECT! If you need any tips or tricks I’d be glad to help. Our business number is 4793100886. Ask for Cullen. Thanks buddy hope this helps
This same type of technology if you can call it that was used on old style rangefinder’s using the size of a deer as a gauge There’s a reason why we quit using them body size does change You would be better off shooting instinctively
Love my EZ V .......solved my target panic the 1st day i shot with it and my accuracy has never been better

Oh I totally agree. I’ll never go back

You would rlly enjoy it. Perfect for any hunting situation
I have one and it works great! I shot my biggest 10 point with it in 2021. It takes a little bit of practice to get use to but it just works!
Oh I totally agree. I’m sold on it.
After two eye surgeries this may get me back in the game.
