kit sounds even better with your amazing playing!
I love the way this thing looks. I totally gotta get one.
Thanks for doing the review.
Like that small kick drum
I just received this kit and for the price I think it is a great deal! The resonant head on the bass drum already had the mic hole cut out.
Make sure you get some lug locks for the snare, along with new snare wires, and pray that the throw off will last more than 6 months. You will also need a Bass drum riser for the kick drum. But all in all, if you're looking for an 18'' bass drum alone this might be the way to go.
I wish they still made this kit. You can’t find them anywhere
I'm a beginner and happen to have a place where I can practice on weekends do you recommend it? is the sound comparable to the tama club jam/pancake?
If you can, get the Tama club jam 4 piece (not the pancake version), It's way superior. You will end up hating the Eastar and buying something else anyway, so just save your money and get the Tama.
Thanks for the review!
How did you cut the hole in the original resonant head? It looks dope!
They make little tools you can buy that cut a perfect hole. Only a few bucks, just look up bass drum port cutter
Thanks! Ordered one. What size hole did you cut?
This looks exactly identical to the Tama Club Jam, could be the same drum/same fabrication? Thank you!
Is there a boom arm attachment on the kick drum? I see some sort of metal bracket thing with a wing nut.
There is, I just bought one of these after watching this. It accepts most l rod types
So did they rip the idea from the Club Jam or do y'all think it's the same factory just producing them under the Eastar name? Either way, I'd love to mess with one of these.
@@johnmatamoros9218 if you can get it on sale do it. Size wise seems comparable to the tama club jam. only thing is have tom drums in mind that you'll want to add. That was my biggest obstacle. The bass drum is actually a beast though. Snare drum sounds great. Even the heads it came with were fine in my opinion. literally my only complaint is the quality of the wrap on drums. Its cheap...but it doesnt affect the sound
Why arnt there more videos on this pack ?
Can you try the Easter 4 piece kit
I bought this set and had the worst bearing edges I ever saw in 24 years of drumming. I know it's a 130 dollar set but damn it's a two piece kit and both drums had cracks in the wood. The wood is so cheap it couldnt hold up when they drilled the holes for lugs. It looks tempting but just go 200 bucks more and get the Tama version. I sent this pos right back to amazon within 24 hours.
Is the snare head coated? I was looking at this but I wanna play it with brushes just need to know if I need to replace the head right away
Probably would have to replace it
What would you recommend to replace the heads on the kick with?
Evans emad
I want it
