the game is completely free to play, there isnt much reason not to at least try it, personally I didnt spend money on the game until I hit around the 50-100 hr mark
Give it a try and if it hooks you wait for a stash tab sale weekend and alteast get a map, currency and atleast 1 premium tab or a premium quad and you should be golden.
I have tried playing this game since Launch (seriously, still have Razer footprint boots). Over 300 hours put into game (I used to come in, try, hit a wall around level 50 and quit). Kind of weird you have to earn a PhD to enjoy this game but I think it's worth it. Gonna watch the entire thing
I just picked this game up for the first time a couple of days ago and your tips have helped a ton to progress. I have been playing at a slow pace just enjoying what the game and campaign has to offer. I've completed almost every sidequest and just finished act 4 and I'm having a blast. I'm already excited to play another character and I haven't even reached "end game"

I know the vid would be way longer but would have liked to see the full 2nd half of acts to follow along. Would love extra help with the endgame. I'm on console so I can't easily use pob or awakened trade. I did just drop my first divine randomly in an unjuiced act 5, and promptly lost my shit.

As someone who is in red maps day 1, this is a very good guide. I may have missed it if he mentioned it but, my big recommendation(to people who are watching his vid no Woolie) is that you make two characters and go do the quicksilver flask quest twice before making your main. 3 flasks is basically 100% uptime and cuts down your time in the acts by about a third. Also if you're going to use skills that arent available to your main, you can use that time to make a class that the skill is a reward for and stash it.

i have multiple level 90 characters in poe, my highest being level 95. ive never used path of building, im going to try it, + i havent played poe in 2+ years, im coming back for the league. getting a refresher from you lol! :)
Aight, came here after a video told me and learned something massive an hour in. The build guides tend to assume you know a certain amount coming in. I learned, that I don't have to level LS from 1 after I get it in act 3 is it? Meaning that when I switch over, I don't start over. Learning gems level on your off hand has saved me a bunch of mental gymnastics so I give this tutorial a 10/10. You have saved me.
All basically to save time skip most of the side quest unless they give you a skill point and it’s faster to exit to character screen the. Use a portal
1st time playing an ARPG and man... I didn't know I was signing up on alchemy, statistics, management classes when I decided to play this game. After watching whole video all I remember is to get life and resistances. XD
1:40:59 This has been changed, you now need to do this quest, it provides a skill point. killing all bandits now only provides one skill point making your points the same but, this quest is now needed.

correct - very few skills ACTUALLY utilize dual wielding efficiently (namely, the skill Dual Strike.) you are much better off having a single good 1H weapon + a shield for more defense
@3:00:00,, 8m having a real difficult time unlocking modifiers. Many 9f them are undiscovered. Also, I haven't encountered a beast to capture since like act 2. So my question is,, how can I unlock those modifiers in the bench?
there are recipes scattered across the various zones during the campaign - hover over a locked modifier (in grey, below your available mods) to see its location. otherwise, you'll start running into a ton of options once you reach Jun in Act 9 and begin unveiling equipment from her mechanic (Betrayal)
Oh my god, been playing poe off my own brain on my maurader and I’m level 35, Ibe managed to make my way over to dexterity and intelligence already on the skill tree, for sure gonna make a new character😂 also want to add I managed to get the vaal smite gem really early and seemed pretty strong so built around that for my armour etc and support gems but my skill tree is beyond fixable hahahaha
i think alot of people are confused at the beginning wether or not this is a guide to make your own build. When he says "plan out" your passive tree, this does Not mean you plan out your own build. This is very important
YO Woolie i hope you see this but I've been trying to follow your video as closely as I can and do the same build but the problem is I don't have the POB so its really hard to know what you do sometimes I'm pretty new to the game and correct me if I'm blind but there is no POB in the description or anywhere but I watched the video and you said there would be one so I'm wondering do you have the POB for the build I'm too deep in and all the other splitting steel builds are completely diffrent especially the skill tree part thank you in advance if you are reading this
Really wanted to start getting invested this league but my gaming laptop has fallen too far 😔Even running on lower graphics/fps the game just freezes so much for me. Going to be upgrading my old desktop with a 40 series super so hopefully I can fully get into the game then 👍
I'd like to know more end-game stuff, i get hard stuck beyond tier 16 maps, once i try to push beyond that i find that i just get crushed by the special bosses like minotaur. i have no clue how you are meant to progress gear-wise
I was having so much fun then in act 9 (necropolis) my first league i kept getting one shot over and over again i gave up. I’m not opposed to difficult content but that was so unfun im hoping poe2 is better I was following a build guide
Very relatable. The truth for better or worse is, when we look at players that always generate tons of money and crazy builds league after league, it becomes about knowing the niche items' value. Everyone knows a Divine Orb is big. But those who can discern which rare items are one or two crafts away from 1000x their current value are those who can rise. Personally, I just enjoy the journey of each league getting closer to that level of understanding. When it becomes too much, take a break, come back next league, but always try to do better than last time 😊
You talk to quickly and swap gems/items to quickly ;) sometimes hard to understand to a newbie player whats going on. I tried to follow but sadly starting from end of Act 4 maps keeps crashing and even when using some ways around it using portal(teleporting back to city and back to the map) issue still persists later in Act 5, so I gave up as currently game seems to be broken after recent update :(
I played 25h I liked the complexity but still only pressed 1! Button the whole time 😅 Then i stopped because it was boring for me to just pimp 1 spell I was Inquisitor i think. Should i give it another chance?
@@Woolie Yeah I wasn't sure. I was able to select the banner for Necropolis while keeping Ruthless unchecked to start my first play through. I asked global chat, and according to them, Solo Self Found only becomes available after Act 3.

Pre-Ascendancy just means your base class (Marauder, Duelist, Witch, etc), before you do the labyrinth

everything is already set up! all you have to do is "enable" it by going: Settings > Game > Item Filter (drop-down menu)

i use the regular loot filer as suggested and now no items are shown
make sure you didn't toggle ALL items off ("z" is the default hotkey for that)
