Very impressive collection! I’m lucky to have collected a lot of the Classics line over the years. I have some missing characters I definitely want to add to the collection over time. My favorites are still Alcala Mini-comic Skeletor, Mer-Man and Trap Jaw.
I'm sitting here with my lonely Vikor -- the only Classics figure I've got -- just goggle-eyed at all the Eternian delights on display! For me the mini-comics figures are the most enthralling, transposing Alcala's artwork into three dimensions. But the whole collection is just magnificent to gaze upon, thanks for a riveting video!
Holy cow, that's awesome! I do the same tiered approach for my displays, but you can immediately tell the difference overall between the MOTU classic 7-8" size compared to a display of 6" figures like GI Joe and Star Wars
Looking good so far! You never cease to impress me! I know how dust a collection is like. It's excruciating, I do that with my Amiibo collection(I notice you have a few of those) and it's a long process, lol.

Cut some shelves with a hand saw an fit the raw edge but up against the edges of the shelves that are already up nearest the window. That way you can fit in some more shelve space beside the window, flanking your window. So then you can have your shelves wrap around the room and arrange the shelves length to fit in the Snake Mtn under the shelves on the floor. You could even do that so you have heroic characters on one side an villain characters on another around snake mtn. Cutting the shelves isnt hard. Just get a saw cutting box; its about a foot an a half long box with various angle cut slots in the box; you can get it at lowes so you can lock in your shelf with the included or purchased separately small vices so you can cut it clean with a hand saw.

Pixel Dan your collection is totally without a doubt beyond wild. You touched upon what to do with the left over figure variants you were not able to get on a shelf. Don't apologize for your display, when I started collecting the MOTU Classics line, this is how I envisioned my collection to eventually be, but because of economy, situations, and terrible timing of releases . . . I wound up with only a fraction of this awesome collection. I had wanted to collect this way, because I had so many of the old 80's figures, vehicles, and both Castle Grayskull as well as Snake Mountain. I have made up with the MOTU Classics and Filmation line, by finally getting a Filmation Sorceress, and Teela which were my long lamented wish figures. I never had either one from the original line in the 80's. But Super 7 fulfilled that wish, and I am very, VERY happy to finally own a Filmation Accurate Prince Adam. Not the cheesy but lovable parody figure, but the 100% accurate Prince Adam. Hopefully Mattel will eventually release a Cringer Ultimate Figure, as I do not wish to spend $100 just to get the accessory Cringer, and badly want one, because Prince Adam feels too damn incomplete without him. Thanks for sharing your collection, Dan. I feel fulfilled seeing all these wonderful figures lined up, somehow.

Dan, If you swap to LED bulbs with low wattage you might get a softer light. Additionally, you should look into the 12in LED light chains, they can be color swapped in 12in sections, meaning you could snake along the above for all the shelves to give fairly even, themed lighting to each "group" in the line. (Gold/Red for the Heroic Masters, Red/Purple for the Evil Warriors, (or even black light would work amazing as it does fun things to Skeletor.) I would suggest moving the megablox Castle, and other minicastles, might be room enough for Snake Mountain in the corner there. Good luck with the collecting, and the coming doom of DUSTING...

Yo Bro! Cool video cast! *Lighting issue: unscrew one the bulbsAs for *CLEANING*, it does mean picking each up and restanding, but work’s phenomenally; toy slime. Some are too runny, some too firm, but Walmart sells several a perfect “Neon” (large print) that’s *perfect* $1 by company Compoundkings.com; perfect consistency for dust cleanup. Just take about a golf all size piece (maybe less), the *DAB*. It almost makes it fun! The slime reaches every nook and cranny and doesn’t hurt the paint. FAR better than q-tips or a tooth brush! I did a third of my collection recently, and it while I planned to start with 1 figure, I did a ton of detailed GI Joes, Transformers and MOTU. Average 7 seconds from dust covered to pristine!

Awesome Collection bud. I missed the live stream because I was working on my "toy room". I've been spring cleaning the shelves and display cases and dusting off the figures. What do you do to keep the dust off your toys? I usually use a damp washcloth and wipe every figure, vehicle and playset.
Us too... minus delivery time, I’ve enjoyed on-line shopping. Except exclusives. I don’t bother. Still waiting for tokka & rahzar from Neca. January 4, 2021, & super shredder sucked getting. Cool room & congrats.

This is what I know Pixel Dan. When your kids get older I feel like you should put signs on it, like Keep Out!, and surprise them with it when they are like pre-teens.
You have probably done what you are going to do with the risers but, if you haven't. Find a purple matte/satin that closely matches or get a flat black, seal with clear matte. Should look good and save some monie$. Just an option. It's what I would do if my collection was that big.
