As a Swede i really appreciate seeing all of those Swedish MOTU items in his collection!
I got that Swedish MOTU boardgame in my collection too! Guess what?! It was all free!
I saved from the dump many years ago and it is in great shape, such a shame that people throw a lot of these things away, if you only knew how often and how much that has been thrown away and destroyed.
So many cool bootlegs and variants, really amazing to see! I wanna go and hunt for weird MOTU stuff right now!

Haha, coming from Yugoslavia I remember those. The problem was there was even a "shortage" of originals on the Austrian border (Duty Free), but the demand was high. So "we" started producing them and they sold quite well. I had none of those, but my friends did. Most of them bought those in Croatia, while being on vacation. I haven`t seen any bootlegs in stores in Slovenia. We did have Galaxy Warriors and they were a lot better in terms of quality.
I have a pretty decent MOTU collection. And friends and others that have seen it have told me that I have a museum. I feel like I have a decent collection. This guy has a MOTU museum. This is truly beautiful and quite awesome. Thank you both for sharing this.
Awesome to see videos like this, because how does one collect something if they don't know it exists, videos like this will show people of all the cool stuff that they can add to their collections. :)

It's so wild to me to see all these bootlegs from Yugoslavia. Being born and raised there, I remember seeing them as a kid, at our local flea market. My parents would always ask my brother and I if we wanted them, to our horror, :). The thing was, we could always tell them apart from the originals. Now, fast forward 30 something years, I wish we would've gotten some of them, as they are/were pretty cool looking, :D.

I've often hoped there could be a series of books, like annuals that cover phenomenal collections like this. I always think how as times move on, so much of this will fade away or be forgotten, and if something came of interviews like this, showing these collections and discoveries, it would possibly fuel future generations to want to be interested and collect after we are starting to let go of our collections.
Also, Mike has an INCREDIBLE collection. The deep dive stuff in collections like this are just wonderful.

It is crazy to see how these Yugoslavian bootlegs are highly coveted some 30+ years later, when I didn't want to go nowhere near them when I was a little kid. :D I did have one of them though, Skeletor was looking decent enough to be added to my original MOTU collection. The biggest issue with these (well, apart from obvious :D ) was that legs were being connected with a single sprue of plastic body was made of, so they couldn't stand on their own and connection would break fairly quickly, making you cry your self to sleep because you now owned a legless figure. :)
Although I threw my YU Skeletor long time ago, I still have his head, as I later got original donor Skeletor without the head, and by some miracle, bootleg Skeletor's head fits the original perfectly! :D His head is fugly, bit I wouldn't change it for original. :D
Small digression though, Yugoslavia was a federation of 6 states and two provinces: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia (with autonomous provinces of Kosovo and Vojvodina) and Slovenia, which is why you see comments about these bootlegs being available in several different countries. :) Serbia kept the name long after other states declared their independence, hence the confusion.

I come from Slovenia. As a kid, I had a lot of these Serbian Knock OFFs, but I sold them ... now I only have a Battle cat and He Man
I like collecting international comics, a lot of Marvel reprints. Some off of ebay, and a few in dollar bins at shows. Plus I've picked up a comic or two the handful of times I've traveled abroad. Fun corner of the collection.
Though i never liked this second generation of he-man series,his collection is really admirable! The purple cat also is panthor i think not battle cat,except if he was talking about the saddle piece!

Very cool. Crazy how Deep this stuff goes. To me the standouts were full body Hiss, hordak with Stinkor armor (plus the big butts haha😈)

Its really interesting however the fact that in some parts of the world like the yugoslavian moskitors they had those fake ones! Its like those battle beasts which we had in greece that they were without the colours as bootlegs rather be coloured! At least with the masters toy line we had the original ones instead fakes! Still though it is a big surprise how those bootlegs ended up have this big value those days rather be second rated toys in general.🤔

Mandora-how lame. They really need to work on the Lunataks-none of those figures were released in the original line, and I'm sure a lot of Thundercats fans are dying to get them in figure form. I thought they were cooler and more powerful than the mutants.
