The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions, flea markets & Antique centers ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, my antique booth and on Facebook Marketplace, which fully supports me.

Karen, I will watch 45 min, 1 hour or more of your video's. I am disabled and I rarely get out so it's nice going shopping with you twice a week! I enjoy the hauls also. As a reseller - I don't want vendors at flea markets knowing that the item I bought from them for $3.00 will sell for $39.99 plus shipping. I have been "caught" before . I cannot afford to burn bridges. @@brendabunnell6759

There are different ones, I am guessing it depends how old they are? Not sure but there is this one, this one with his name underneath and one with just his signature. There are probably others too but not sure. @@user-vz7eq6dx8c

Happy Sunday Morning Karen & Roger! I'm sure I was born in the wrong century! I am so drawn to the amazing large brass candlesticks & other antiquities from long ago. I am in awe of all the historic buildings, churches & antiques. It is an 'honour' to watch your channel & be able to view amazing items. Like you Karen, I am attracted to wooden crafted items. I still use a large bowl with 8 smaller salad bowls received when I first married in 1973 ~ 51 yrs ago & they are in excellent condition. Enjoying my coffee this morning in a winter wonderland! Apparently it's spring in Pennsylvania! Keep the 'Treasures' coming! 💖🎶

Karen, I can tell you take your time and clean, steam, press and whatever you need to do to get your items in the best possibly condition to sell. I think the time doing this is invaluable and can even help you get more for your items. Thank You for showing us how to do quality work. Love your channel!
I agree! I see other resellers take their items straight from the thrift store & put away in boxes, etc, without cleaning them or putting them in individual plastic bags. I realize there is more cost involved in the cleaning & storing of items in plastic, but as a buyer, I appreciate the extra effort & will pay more because of it. I don’t want to buy a blouse, for example, that’s been stored in someone’s dirty garage. 😊

Hi Karen, I used to work at and then managed a dinnerware store in NYC that imported pottery from Deruta, Italy. A lot of people think Deruta is the name of the pattern, but it's the name of the town where they are made. None of the designs are copyrighted or exclusive to anyone - they are traditional motifs that have been in production since the Middle Ages. The owner of my store sold the same pattern of the ones you bought and worked with the Grazia Factory as well. Ubaldo Grazia is the owner - if you Google his name, you'll find his website. That being said, W-S *may have* requested some little curlicue or flourish to add to it or use certain colors to make it different, but in reality, there are lots of little family-run pottery manufacturers in Deruta that use the same traditional Deruta patterns and designs associated with the region. The differences are usually in the execution (quality of the hand-painting) and variations in color. We sold pieces from about four or five different Deruta pottery factories, and a customer could mix and match them very easily. You would probably really enjoy a trip to Deruta to see all the pottery makers. There aren't as many factories there as there used to be, but I know the owner of my store enjoyed her trips there.

Karen you ask about a larger serving tray. I use mine at the bottom of my bed Katty corner, with a beautiful throw, a book, and a beautiful cup and saucer. Absolutely beautiful on a pretty made up bed. Love seeing you and roger.

I use mine on the sofa on the middle cushion and it holds my drink, my phone and anything else I am working on.

Karen, if you have ever heard of CA Glue, it is a 2 part glue that works really well. They have just come out with a glue remover. I bought it as my fingers begged me to. Having said this I have found it will remove all permanent marker. I had several Military Ornaments but someone had personalized it. This CA glue remover took that permanent marker off. I tried it on the soles of shoes and I took it off of that as well.
The Staub cast iron dutch oven is fabulous! What a great find. They are individually made/cast in France. (when you have time look up the history and how they are made) I use mine all the time. Perhaps you should try it out before you list it.
I'm a subscriber that watches all of it. I enjoy the thrifts, hauls, etc. You can learn a lot by watching you. 😊

Karen I love the wooden bowls and as a person that cooks a LOT I would never put pasta in a red sauce/gravy especially. Maybe a white but I would use those bowls for salad only!!! I love that set. I never want to offend anything you say but you must know something outstanding and phenomenal about that dress that is too small for Betsy. It reminds me of a bridesmaid dress I wore in the early 70's along with a floppy hat. All the women had a different color and we looked like a rainbow or a blossoming garden. Looking back on those photos makes me cringe. Can you tell I don't appreciate it ?? I sure hope however you make what you think it's worth, I am sure you are correct. I went to Goodwill today, Sunday, came home empty handed. They're raising the prices and during the week, they remove a lot of the inventory that will be changing to 75% off on Sunday.
The wooden bowl set came from a company near auburn ny. They are vintage and unfortunately the company is no longer in business. I have a set with flowers on it and

You said that you haven’t found a Glassy Baby yet I found one about two years ago or more in a thrift store for .99cent as I was walking down the isle I spotted it picked it up and you can really feel the quality in them. Yeah, you're right. I usually balk at videos over 45mins. Luckily, most of the channels I follow don't usually go beyond 45mins. I really love the Italian platters, and the brass candlesticks and candle sconces are amazing too. Exciting finds.

Great picks. Loved that unusual "flat" hand held clutch. I use trays sometimes on a coffee table or other table to place items as decor, such as a candle, a book, etc.

Karen, I have been to Deruta Italy, their ceramics ae beautiful and pricey, you did well.
If anyone wants to watch a longer video, but don't have time to finish it.... they can click on the settings icon (looks like a gear) on the video & change the playback speed. I always watch on 1.75, but depending on the video & who's speaking, I may slow it down a bit. It helps me to be able to watch w/o missing anything due to time constraints. I also slow it down when I am watching videos on how to make things - playback speed is really a nice accessibility!

Love the haul videos because of the educational information you provide on the items you purchased, which are worth flipping for a good profit. Your thrifting videos reflect the same type of items found in most thrift stores that are not worth purchasing. I miss your pack and ship videos, too. They were helpful and entertaining.

Another great video! I LOVE that you list and try to sell ALL that we see you sourcing. I think it speaks to the quality of items you purchase. So many just pick up things for the sake of picking up, knowing they'll just re-donate or give away (nothing wrong with that!) what is not worth listing. It also makes me more conscientious when I'm out thrifting. Bravo!!
