    so staging output should be a pwm- to activate relay?

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  2 года назад +1

      For a solid State relay that you want to modulate, yes. If it's a regular mechanical Bosch relay, a 12 volt positive or ground trigger will work. For the purpose of this video, a trans brake and and bump, it needs a SSR.

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  2 года назад +1

      @@SouthGeorgiahotshot don't worry, it's fine. Both the brake and bump button are set as a ground input, meaning the ECU side completes the circuit. There are two staging inputs so that the ECU can work as a bump box, the first arms the brake, the second interrupts the brake for a moment. The second is not needed if you do not desire a bump function. Hopefully that helps.

    explain how you're dual purposing the scramble button as a bump staging as well

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  3 года назад

      On the pin map, I drop two or three things to the desired input. Any time that input is activated, the ECU will do all of them. For the scramble/bump, any time that I push the bump button, it will also add the scramble boost, in my case 5 more pounds on the dome. Since the time that it's active while I stage isn't long enough for the boost controller to actually add that much air pressure, it's not really an issue.
      The important thing to pay attention to is that the wiring matches, both being ground inputs, or both positive inputs, otherwise the software won't let you.

    How do you have your scramble set up in the table?

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  3 года назад

      I have changed some things since making this video. I'm now using a 3 bar MAP sensor and a 3 port MAC valve for the boost control instead of the 2 BAR and 4 port MAC valve.
      Under the boost setup tab, I checked the Boost Scramble Increase box and have it set to 5 psi, which commands 5 pounds on the dome of the wastegate. If you cannot find the boost tab, look under the Toolbox drop down menu at the top of the screen and select Add Individual Config.

    • @TrailerParkMotorsports
      @TrailerParkMotorsports  3 года назад

      The outputs are ground based sensors, meaning that the ECU will provide the ground side of the circuit. If you're still having issues verify that the wiring on the harness is correct. My friend Jay had a buddy whose inputs and outputs were swapped in the harness.

    Do you need to ground the bump or does the scramble ground it?

  • @kyleedwards5436
    @kyleedwards5436 3 года назад

    Does it matter which wires you use for inputs and outputs if you use the ones labeled for pwm- for the out put and G for the inputs? I have mine set for tb to be on the red/ white wire on pin A3 and the bump on the blue/white wire on pin A12. The output is on pin B10 to the ssr. orange wire direct to 12v and the blue wire to the tb solenoid. It doesn't work. The tb will work if I ground the center trigger wire.
