I have let my 6 year old watch your tumbler vids. She will sit and. Watch until I tell her she needs to go play. Your purple glitter tumbler is the thing that got her mesmerized. Think I have a fellow DIY partner in the making. 😃
Aww, that makes me so happy that she is enjoying them too. My 11 year old is usually watching all of my tutorials and helping me with the camera. It's nice to have your kids share similar interests.
Oh my goodness I love glitter swirl, I’m gonna try my first tomorrow, after seeing this the glitter colors may change, I Love those colors! I’m new at all this, love watching your videos, you shoe the paint, and glitter, and explain it all so good! Thank you for taking the time share with us!! LOVE IT!
Am enjoying your video but I found that if you place your bottles of epoxy into a container with hot water and let them sit for about 10 minutes or so... part A is so much easier to work with. Also when I did this... I found that when I combined both parts... there were little to no bubbles.
Thank you for creating such a beautiful tumbler!!!! I just love it!!!! I am thinking about doing this as a project. I may get it to selling them. Please keep the wonderful colorful videos coming!!!!! Be blessed always dear!!!!
I wish there was a (💓)and not just like ...new sub for sure...you make beautiful art out of awesome glitter... love, glitter and purple!! Saving to my favorites... can't wait to watch more of your videos!! 💜
Would you mind sending pictures of the rotating thingy for the cups? My wife would like to start do9ng this and I'd like to attempt to build it. Thank you
I sure will. Right now I am swamped getting the last cups in the mail before Christmas as well as several I'm making as gifts but I will try to get this done as soon as possible.
Sorry, I took a bit of a break but I am back now. I just posted one last week and I am in the process of editing another right now. Thank you so much for your support.
how do you not end up with a glitter dam? it looks like your using so much but its probably just how blingy the glitter is. i had to strip my cup and start over. your cup is so beautiful.
There isn't as much as it looks like there is, but it is more than I would use on a typical epoxy method cup to make sure that it flows. Sometimes it looks like it's going to clump and I just hit it with a bit more heat and then give it a minute to spin.
My husband built me a cup turner as well. In this particular video, what is on your pvc pipe and inside the cup. Every football and pool noodle I've tried is in the way of me doing the rim. Personally, I like the whole cup solid glitter. I don't like taping anything off. I don't want to see any stainless steel.
I think this video I am using a pool noodle. I just make sure to cut it down enough so that it doesn't get any epoxy on it. My preference is usually not taping off the bottom too.
Thank you for sharing. Very informative and easy to understand and follow. I am going to go make one right now. I appreciate you taking the time to demonstrate how to do this so others can learn, as well.
Will you show how you clean up your cup? Is the inside lip taped? You do go over the edge, as you mention but I have had some big messes on inner lip. Less than a month making cups. Trying to get edges down. Appreciate the help!
The other day I use acc quick dry and my eyes the next day were all swollen and red. I really like it too but I think I'm allergic. Have you had that problem? Now what do I do with the leftover I have grr
Beautiful tumbler. Can you tell me what the spray paint is you used first? Is it a matt purple primer or something? I can't read the label in the video. Thanks very much
I loved this one and just tried it but was scarred to pour too much epoxy that when I sprinkled the.glitter it wasn't as thick as the video. How can I add more glitter??????? T.y
I'm not really sure what you're asking. For this cup you do need more glitter than the average epoxy method. It not only needs to be able to flow, but some will also drip off as you are heating it up.
Hello love these. I would like to make my own for family members. Can u PLEASE tell me Where is the least expensive place to get the cups and glitter and glue and vinyl wholesale? THANK U IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!!!❤️🦋
Do you have to use a stainless steel cup in order to make these style of cups? (Epoxy, glitter, decals etc) I am wanting to make a water bottle with a sports top like this but those are hard to come by in stainless
Good question. It doesn't have to be stainless. I have used other colors when the stainless is out of stock. I just always make sure to do my base layer of spray paint because you never know how each surface will react.
Wow! I didn’t think I was going to like it and then BOOM all of a sudden everything shifted and it swirled! What an incredible technique! Is it the heat gun that does that? Do you need something like a kitchen torch or will the heat gun I use for embossing work? Thank you so much for sharing!
I've tried making this twice. I'm either not putting enough epoxy on at the beginning, or it's my heat gun, which only has 2 settings, low and high. I'll keep practicing!
If you only have low and high definitely use high but move it across the surface a little faster to eliminate any chance of burning. You do need more epoxy than usual to get the flow going too.
I usually use the lightest color as the base. So, probably the orange. If you put a green or purple base then it could show through and change the color of your orange glitter.
Got a question. I already dipped my cup. If i wantvto add glitter to it, do I put on epoxy first then blend in my glitter. Then another layer of epoxy after that dries. Or what. Help
i have to ask, where do you get that tool that spins your cup and do you just leave it continuing to spin for the full curing time. Thankyou for reassuring me about alumilite. I just purchased some and have never heard of this, and I'm nervous to do it because there are so many warnings people make about it possibly not curing, creating bubbles, exc. My name is not blinky btw, its alina
Does anybody else get hypnotized watching those sparkles twirl????✨
What I need in this life is an entire 10 gallon bucket of that purple rain glitter!!!

This is an amazing video and this purple rain glitter.... WOW
Thank you!
Omg that purple rain speaks to my soul! 🥰
And use parchment paper or a vinyl table cloth underneath and the epoxy peels straight off once dry

Yes really pretty. It’s awesome
Thank you!
I use Alumalite resin as well for my cups and casting for turning.Beautiful result.
Do you cover it again with another layer of Epoxy???? Great video ... thank You
Thank you! Yes I do. You can add vinyl too and then another layer of epoxy.
So you do not top it again after it's done? I can see with all the epoxy, it's probably sealed enough, but just asking.

I am really thinking about doing this. I am a stay at home pregnant wife and am looking to earn some money doing things that are fun.
@@ashleecox6076You should! It's a great way to earn some extra income but I would talk to your doctor about using the epoxy while pregnant.
Definitely will do that.
This is so beautiful
Thank you
Do you recommend staying away from chunky glitters for this technique? I noticed you used fine and extra-fine glitters only.
Looks perfect!
Thank you!
Beautiful. How do you get glitter on the bottom of the cup?
Those glitters look like jewel dust! You should also sell the drips as epoxy stones!
Great tutorial! Best I have seen. This tumbler is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you!
I love it! So pretty!
That cup looks really pretty
What is the thing called that it’s spinning on? Where’d you get in and cost?
My husband made these. I am planning on doing a video showing how soon.
Beautiful job. I love it.
Awesome glitter. What's it called, plz. Thx
I did a pink, silver and white glitter one. It basically all blended together? What did I do wrong. Its still pretty but was not what I was going for?

Hi, I like the color from glitter bulk. Can you share the links please.
I was wondering where you got purple rain and Evan hawk
Awesome!!!!😍😍😍
Beautiful cup. Do you put another layer of epoxy over the glitter after this layer has dried?
Thank you. I do. Next I would put any vinyl on the cup and then I would give it another coat of epoxy.
So after the first expect Ang glitter dries u put another costvof expect. Does the glitter smooth itself out. Asking for my wife
Expoxy and coat not coxt
Hi, after it drys the next day, do you epoxy again? Thank you
I can't understand where you said you got the purple rain and ebony, can you tell me here
Sure, it was bulkglitters.com.
I have kind of a goofy question. how did you get the paper seal off the bottle of glitter?
Do you have to use a stainless steel cup in order to make these style of cups? (Epoxy, glitter, decals etc)
I am wanting to make a water bottle with a sports top like this but those are hard to come by in stainless
Good question. It doesn't have to be stainless. I have used other colors when the stainless is out of stock. I just always make sure to do my base layer of spray paint because you never know how each surface will react.
RESIN LOVES PLASTIC IF THATS WHAT YOUR ASKING.
That is beautiful. But im wondering, at what point donyou clean up the inside rim of the cup?
I cleaned the inside about 30 minutes into turning by using a cotton swap and alcohol
Wow! I didn’t think I was going to like it and then BOOM all of a sudden everything shifted and it swirled! What an incredible technique! Is it the heat gun that does that? Do you need something like a kitchen torch or will the heat gun I use for embossing work? Thank you so much for sharing!

Where do you get your glitter, that purple is fantastic
So many places although this purple is from bulkglitters.com
Very pretty!!. Is this epoxy food safe? What temperature is it good for?
Beautiful!
Thank you.
Beautiful, did you add another layer of epoxy after this?
Yes, you always want another layer of epoxy after this.
First time seeing someone do that method. Did u add epoxy over it at the end. Or that finished product?
I love it!
Amazing job at explaining and showing the materials ! ❤️❤️🙌🏼
Thank you!
Can you please tell me where buy the purple rain glitter, I cant understand you on the video and I LOVE that glitter! Thanks
Sure, it was from Bulkglitters.com
Big Thank you! Love your channel!!
If you apply a thin coat of epoxy will it swirl less? or you must epoxy a thick coat
It won't swirl as well, plus you will possibly end up with not as enough epoxy left on the cup.
DO you cover the inside in case any of it goes inside? If it does is it still safe to drink from?
You can but I just clean it up afterward. I have a video on how I did this.
What would you suggest the base color be for a swirl with orange, green and purple glitter?
I usually use the lightest color as the base. So, probably the orange. If you put a green or purple base then it could show through and change the color of your orange glitter.
am making my first soon this was a fab video when it dried did you epoxy again?? its lush!!
Thanks, I did. Once it hardened I put my vinyl name on it and gave it another coat of epoxy.
Got a question. I already dipped my cup. If i wantvto add glitter to it, do I put on epoxy first then blend in my glitter. Then another layer of epoxy after that dries. Or what. Help
I've never actually done it in that order before. I have glittered it and then epoxied and then hydro dipped.

Do you prep the cup before spray painting them?
I need glitter for the Dr Pepper tumbler (color) do you have any?? Thx
HOW LONG WOULD THIS CUP HAVE TO TURN SOME SAY 4 TO 6 HRS SOME SAY MORE WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND THANKS
Is that food-safe resin, or do you not use the cup for drinking from? It's beautiful.
Thank you! It is. That's why I use the brand that I do.
Great job! Do you have to use heat gun?
Wow Its so cool!! Seeing the colors swirling . Do you put another layer of clear on after 6 six hour ? How about sand it?
I do not sand this first layer, I put a second coat after about 12 hours and then vinyl if I choose. Then I would apply a final coat.
Love this color....Can I get hole thing at Walmart because I just to do one for my self
No.
I love this tumbler!! If the epoxy gets inside the cup, how do you get it out?
