Guys, can't thank you enough for letting me be a guest on the show and allowing me to go long. It was truly great to feel like I was back in the job kitchen. I was so flattered to see some of the heart felt comments from your listeners in the chat room. My man Loot7! Wishing you all peace, love and safety on your tours of duty. God bless you all and God bless America. Thank you. Niels Jorgensen
Wow! Neils that was incredible mate. Some of which resonated a lot in relation to my old man who was a police officer here in England. I’ve always wanted to be a fireman, but sadly my chances are next to zero here in the UK due to quotas. I have no right to call you brother as i haven’t shared the euphoric and tragic experiences of the job. I hope you don’t take offence to me wishing you were one. You’re a true warrior and Heres to you, your health, your family, and your fdny brothers both lost and still with us. 🍻🏴🇺🇸
Brother god bless you! Hearing your story makes us a better person. God bless your family and wife. Stay safe. Keep going, NEVER STOP PUSHING AND WE ALL WILL NEVER FORGET THE BROTHERHOOD.
Proud to call Niels a good friend from way back when he and I were cops but he was getting the FDNY call first. I had to wait couple years. What a gentle giant. A true gentleman and firefighter. He has old school greatest generation values ..that of which has been lost in today’s society. Great show guys.
Niel's enthusiasm is so contagious!! Interesting reverse park technique 🚒👃🏼. Enthralling to hear about Father Mychal Judge🌈...... I'm SO glad Niel managed to continue his service after that, and got through his awful 9/11 illness later. AWESOME, AWESOME SHOW GUYS.⭐❤
@@nielsjorgensen7513 Hey Niels. I was finally able to finish listening to your 20 for 20 a few months back. I hope you are healthy and still in remission 🙏🙏
@Drew Van Demark hello my Brother, thank you for the kind thoughts. I’m still blessed with remission and enjoying the gift of life. Be careful out there, best always- niels
I held on to every word. THANK YOU. I live in a lil town in the sierra Nevada mountains & I love your show. Our town has a big FF community. God Bless. ❤️🤍💙
I watched this show again for the second time the only other one was tillies nothing but respect and anything else I can give to this brother much respect.. BK
Hey Neils...I was Jeff Richards Captain in North Hudson, he always spoke very highly of you, just wanted to let you know I'm praying for your good health and loved your episode and your 20for20 podcast. GOD BLESS and continue good health BC Mike Giacumbo NHRFR
Mike, I meant to reply ages ago. It was unfortunate that we had to see Jeff off to heaven today, to be with his Mom. He’s safely home now. It’s so sad that a good man like Jeff is gone and evil people walk through life with impunity. So honored to stand with you and the Brothers of North Hudson and Laurelton to pay our respects to Jeff. He always spoke about how he loved working with you and the great guys in your company. Wishing you all God’s peace love and safety. Be careful out there 🙏👍🇺🇸
@@nielsjorgensen7513 thank you Sir...fight the good fight...It was great to finally meet you our angel Jeff will be looking out for us...Godspeed my friend
Greg Forsythe I believe is the older brother of former Rescue 1 firefighter Warren Forsythe who was with Kevin Shea in the Firehouse episode about Rescue 1 from 1991.
Great show as always guys. You can hear the full story of Ron Clifford and his family --- better known as the Man WIth the Yellow TIe --- in the first episode of the National Geographic documentary series 9/11 One Day In America. He was supposed to have a business meeting at the World Trade Center Marriott on the morning of 9/11.
Niels the only thing you should have done is the scene from the pilot of The Wire where Major Rawls gives the double bird to McNulty. They did not treat your condition correctly and that is a travesty.

One of the best if not THE best episode ever guys. Niels is a class act and what a tear jerker this episode was!
Fr. Judge was present in his time of need. What a blessing. He was truly an agent of God. His life was the epitome of altruism.
Thank you Owen. Father Judge was a living Saint!!

The age of hurt feelings. Classic.
My dad worked in 84 Truck and used to be detailed at 82 Truck in Great Kills
Here’s to your old man from across the pond.
