Rocky ALWAYS has a smile on his face. Even when he talks he smiles at the same time!! He's wonderful to watch, I could watch him all day. Captain CUZ! 🤣 I Can't imagine BOBBY G in a post office Jeep. That's an image I'd love to see. THESE TWO BOUNCING STORIES OFF EACH OTHER IS PRICELSS.⭐⭐ Thank you for making this happen!
When I was 12 and in the Boy Scouts in the Great kills area of Staten Island. I hang out at engine 162/168? Anyhow they go on call and I sneak in and run upstairs to slide down the pole. I remember a parade going up Nelson avenue and I was Holding the First American Flag in the parade and the Firefighters were outside pointing and clapping at me for some reason. Come to find out they knew what I was doing.( store across the street told on me) anyhow the next time I showed up they fed me lunch and gave me a tour of the firehouse. Did the same thing at the Firehouse in Tottenville. Because of politics and guidelines the city had back in the early 80s I never took the test I liked traveling, so I became a truck driver, volunteer fireman in Bartow County Georgia in the 90s, I ended up delivering the 165 high back office chairs to the temporary setup for the Pentagon on September 16,2001. And at the time (October of 01) Donated a Flag to 2 fire departments for two from Rescue 5 Carl and Joey. But regardless of where I lived after moving out of NYC I was always that Brooklyn/Staten Island raised person. Im retired and still give people nicknames and bust their chops. By the way I when to PS216 in the 60s/70s. Cut school at Coney Island. Nathan Hot Dogs!!!! Found this podcast by accident, Gary G grew up 2 blocks from me in Tottenville a few years older than me. Same Boy Scouts troop. Podcast is awesome, Thanks….
