High viscosity Oil with higher viscosity index such as PAGs, PPFEs, Esters can be used. But also, it is not always the best option coz these oil contains a base oil and additives. Which my suit not suit your engine when it will start & will come to operating temperature.
Above all I don't think Lubricating Oil number matters
Because, we have Cyl Oil Heater for correct injection temperature for cylinder oil.
If you continously use the Lube oil purifier for sump Lub oil purification the temperature of Lub oil sump tank will be maintained.
Above all we also have a Temperature control valve after Lube Oil cooler set at about 40-45 degrees for Lub Oil inlet to engine.
So I guess this too will maintain the temperature.
