    i would like to clarify something sir, I dont know if my formula is wrong. Indicated power = mean Indicated pressure x L x A x Number of stroke per sec Effective power = mean effective pressure x L x A x Number of stroke per sec mean effective pressure = mean indicated pressure - losses (1.25 bars constant for model L35MC) some people use 1 bar for the losses if they dont know the constant. thats why im confuse for Indicated power = mean effective pressure x L x A x Number of stroke per sec

    Great explanation. But I could not fully comprehend why do we have to maintain scavenge cooling water difference to 5 degrees ?

      That 5 degree difference shows the cooling is perfect. And there is no scaling in tubes in inner part and the heat transfer is efficient. Even at low SW temperature if your in/out vv are full open and still there difference between in/out is less than 5degC that means there is scaling in tubes and if the engine will run at high load the cooler won't be able to cope up with the temperature. Also 5 degC difference is necessary to facilitate the Cooling as much as we can. Because once the air is compressed in T/C the cooling is done to make the air dense. And there by reducing the work done. The isothermal PV to the power 1 curve is the curve in which the work done is lowest. We are trying to achieve that. Also if the air is not dense the SCAV temp is high your combustion will be improper. Since higher air temperature will reduce its densisty. Thereby high temp = Less dense air = less air. So the air to fuel ratio will be improper leading to improper fuel combustion.

      To prevent spark erosion which can developed in between the shaft and the main bearings .. The potential difference that is voltage developed only when the shaft is rotating and there is breakage of lubricating oil film between the shaft and bearings. Due to voltage or potential developed there will be spark produced due to dissimilar metals are in contact.. These sparks can damage both the bearings and shaft especially bearings.. The damages caused by the spark is nothing but spark erosion. And that's why we are grounding this current.. indirectly the potential.

      VIASHAKH we don't have the damper in real. That diagram is only for the purpose of explaining how surging takes place. Basically by damper it's showing resistance. Resistance can be due to air filter, choked air cooler, dirty scavenge air passages, dirty econimiser.

      Because the shaft is seperate to हल body by Lubricating oil film. And also since it's rotating which creates a micro magnetic field..and thus a potential difference.

      90 degrees out of phase card mein jo indicator drum hai... Usko haath se kheechte hai jaise video mein dikhaaya hai... They way he is taking card.. And in phase card yaani ki Power Card mein.... Drum ki string ko cam follower se connect karte hai... And fir drum cam follower ki movement follow karke gumta है... Generally woh cam follower... Fuel pump ke baaju mein rehta hai... Exhaust valve ke upar indicator kaisa rehta hai... To check opening and closing of exhaust valve... Waise hi same dikhta hai cam follower... Next to fuel pump..
