Il existe Deeple qui me permet de rapidement traduire dans le cas où j'ai rédigé mes explications (ce qui est rarement le cas). Les termes techniques comme Screen = Superposition empêchent d'exploiter un outil de traduction automatique :/

    Good video. The first I have seen on packaging design. P is a hobby of mine as I am fascinated by the wonderful design on to of the brilliant layout of the packaging. I didn't quite how you brought in the layout to begin the design or if it was all done in Photoshop. I will watch the video again, but no matter. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing.

      Thanks for your comment, maybe in the furture i will release a video with the complete process. What i did here is use the model layer in illustrator and then draw above, added some personnal stuff afterwards. The mock up was made in photoshop. Recently i got some amazing inspiration for energy cans from it but to use images right as they are you need a lot of prompting trial & error.

      Thank you for your response. You know, now I am learning from all of you great creators. It is a great challenge to get our concept on the screen to create the way you see it. As an idea, would it help to segment your vision break it into pieces like a puzzle, and put it together in layers positioning, which you can do so well, and combine it?
      Confidentially, I am a little intimidated by the art rendering AI. I am really excited
      but, I am resisting committing myself as I am devoted to other pursuits at the moment. what I am noticing now, is incremental improvements are now being released, so being familiar with software development I think I can sit back and learn, as we are in the early days.

      @@chrismachabee3128 Sure great idea ! Yes a lot is going on (not only in art) and sometimes it's though to catch up. I am subscribed to a few newsletters in order to stay aware but of course the most important is to practice & learn a new technique when you get stuck. What a world !

    Hi! Great video! I am wondering how I can get the detailed specifications of the packaging provided by a manufacturer to be used as part of the prompt so that I can make sure the MidJourney output matches manufacturer specifications. Do you know the best way to get this done?

  • @melissafraser2190
    @melissafraser2190 Год назад +3

    Hi there. Thanks for the informative video. I am guessing this is for inspiration only. No graphics or dielines that you can use to finish the product? Not sure if there is anything out there for that yet.

    • @Designoutofthebox
      @Designoutofthebox  Год назад +1

      Hey, thanks for your comment. Well yes & no, if your happy with the image you get then you can use it for your packaging without editing it, however Midjourney will not handle your text, logo, nutritional values and other text information (as we're speaking). Furthermore you will have to provide the exact dimensions and color mode (rgb / cmyk) to the factory or printer. Recently i made an energy drink can under 4 hours using Midjourney + Photoshop + Illustrator; if i had not used IA i would probably have needed 3x or 4x more time. The IA improves over time and i'm sur packaging will be even easier if you master prompting (finding the perfect images can take up to an hour of trial and error)

    Hello! Could you assist me? As a graphic designer specializing in packaging, I'm eager to incorporate AI into my projects. I see a significant opportunity to craft more realistic and comprehensible scenes featuring the packaging for my clients. Typically, my clients provide me with specific measurements for the packaging they intend to use. My question is: Is it possible to integrate this packaging into the AI-generated scenes? Thank you very much! Also, congratulations on your video!

    Your English is excellent
    Just I wonder did you design the same image from Midjourney in illustrator or did you just cut the photo from Midjourney and put it on the packaging ???

    • @Designoutofthebox
      @Designoutofthebox  10 месяцев назад +1

      1-Download the image from Midjourney
      2-If it is not flat > Use the perspective crop tool in photoshop to make it flat
      3-Import the image in Illustrator and draw over it if the quality is poor, otherwise vectorize it.
      4-Apply it to your mock-up (using illustrator's new feature or photoshop, dimension... any software).

    Is Midjourney actually better than Dall-e? What's your opinion?

    • @Designoutofthebox
      @Designoutofthebox  Год назад +4

      Thanks for your comment, none is better it all depends of the use : Midjourney is better for artistic results whereas Dall-E gives you the ability to erase a part of an image and replace it wwith something new while matching colors, lightning and textures. Overall I prefer Midjourney even if Dall-E is sometimes better at making realistic pictures

      The hot tenders i actually made myself on Illustator (image of tender and drawing outlines above it, yes that easy). To use them on a mock-up I used Photoshop. But i think that with V5 you can do all this straight in MJ.

    Hello! Thanks for the video!
    I want to upload a picture on a white background and get its unmodified image on a new, beautiful background. Is that possible? Please give me an example of a promt if you know how to make it

    • @Designoutofthebox
      @Designoutofthebox  Год назад

      I'm glad my video helped at least someone 🙂
      Not sure i fully understood your question : so you got a picture of a subject and want it on a new background right ?
      Well 1st option : use an image editing software (canva / photoshop / remove ) that has the ability to supress that white background (for instance the magic wand with very low tolerance and continguous pixels in photoshop) + on midjourney prompt your background and place it as a layer below. However your subject will not match the background perfectly so this will require editing colors ands lights.
      2nd option : Midjourney is unlikely to keep the image you uploaded as it is so you could try using dall-e2 (50 free prompts per month) -> upload your image and then erase all the white around the subject + type your prompt and it will make a background that should match.
      Guess what ? I will try to cover this in a new video soon !

      Sorry I didn't understand your question ... If you mean sending a concept from Midjourney to a Packaging company well i guess you'll have to pay their graphic designers less than if they would have to start from scratch, also depends on the complexity of the design
