The glaring problem with this is that Midjourney cannot replicate a specific product, it will always be slightly different which is a big no no for brands.
It's a totally misleading video. It can create ultra-realistic product shots for products that don't really exist. I thought he had discovered a new technique that I wasn't aware of. And then 13 minutes into the video he explains that exact replicas of real products can't be created in Midjourney. Ugh!

Not always. I use that when I want to apply default Midjourney aesthetics to my image. Most of the time, I go for Style Raw meaning I don’t rely on Midjourney aesthetics, I want my styling keywords to be taken into account by Midjourney.

Great video so helpful. I have an apparel company and I need your help. I’d like to know if you can assist me in creating incredible images with mid journey for my clothing line.
The problem is, none of these products are real and cannot be used practically for anything. I need midjourney to take a product that already exists and create a nice commercial shot out of it without changing the actual product image.
At the moment, combining an advanced midjourney prompt with a product render from blender or keyshot can be done pretty quickly in photoshop and can give very convincing results. The main factor is matching the lighting on the rendered object to the midjourney scene you want to drop it into, as well as shot angle/perspective. I’ve created some comps recently that have surprised me in terms of realism, and I don’t even have much Photoshop experience. But I agree, being able to upload an image and have MJ generate a scene around it would really streamline things. I’m sure it’s coming.

Exactly, I don’t see the point of this if it’s only generating fictitious products. This video is absolutely useless if you’re doing real marketing for real companies.

They’re bringing people slowly based on total number or image generations. You need to have 1000+ image generations for early access.

I agree. I think Midjourney team needs to improve the product for this use case. If they do, I see a huge commercial potential.
