WipEout 3 with their futuristic graphics, Colin McRae with such a realistic rally feels as well became my first ever PS1 games and ofc Gran Turismo with their high quality driving simulator experience, made me appreciate even more how PS1 capable doing it
Wipeout 3 also had a 3D cockpit view. None of the other Wipeout-games, before or since, had a cockpit view. It really added som "reality" into the mix.

Excellent list! I especially love the shout out to Turbo Prop Racing. I am a huge fan of this game. I will always feel it was unfairly overlooked and underrated for its day. My choice for a graphically impressive PSX racer is Porsche Challenge. It has a photo realistic color palette, and the "interactive" track mode, where short cuts and various routes open and close each lap, was a one-of-a-kind gameplay feature. Great game. Love the channel.

In a future video you should include: Toca 2 and 3, Wipeout 2048, Rollcage 1 and 2, NFS 4 and 5, Driver 1 and 2. There was also a racing game running in 60fps, I don't remember its name. Also, retroactively, you could mention GT1s 60fps mode, I have 2 videos on that on my channel.

Great video with some overlooked titles. Wipeout 3 and Special Edition also have a widescreen mode which is very cool. Strangely so does the original Colin McRae Rally.

Yea there are some fantastic looking games for PS1 that can easily be mistaken for PS2 games as they look that good... The PS1 had more going for it than what was thought back in the day...

I'm using duckstation at the moment it works great, also use pcsxr, i did use epsxe on my old pc but i got a new faster pc a few weeks back & that emulator no longer works on it even with the same settings i used before on the older computer so i mainly just use the other 2 with no issues...
@@PSXGamingMemories Everything works fine for me, with epsxe pcsxr and duckstation, on my new pc, my new pc is laptop 18p inch -alienware area 51, 1080-gtx proccessor i9, and 128 gb of ram hahaxD,:O :) :D duckstation use pgxp in video seetttings , and for perfect image , enter in video settings , activate lineal upscaler an inenhacements settings , jinc filter or bilienal , xbr is bad destroye 3d games and the backrrounds is horrible , and in enhacements settings activate true color rendering 24 bit for normal color image ,and in enhacements settings activate force les timings NTSC 60 hz in pal , and in enhacemEents settings widescreen for fitgGghting games , for not crushed rubbers craracters hahah,, the oter enhacements settings settings not activated is bad , and include scannline movement rare efect hahahxD,
@@PSXGamingMemories d Anyway, what you say about this configuration not working for you on your new pc, is because I find it failing you more, I use backup in one reg file, in your old pc, go to regedit, key current userr software and search epsxe folder, right click the context menu and export the reg file to the deckstop example, and copy to usb pedrive and put the new PC and double click to add the registry settings, all in correct way;) I always do that in every pc change;) and ba to perfection;)
It’s really annoying when people say ps1 games could be mistaken for ps2. Ridge racer launched on ps2 and as a launch game the graphics are leagues better than type 4. R4 looks like a ps1 game. Ps1 was 32 bit and ps2 was 128. Ps2 graphics were 4 times better than the ps1. It’s such a cop out to say that even the best ps1 game was on par with even a launch ps2 game. You’d be pushing it to say it even looked as good as n64.
