I love using a base anchor for that reason but I never thought of using a stopper knot and flipping the whole device through the crotch. I would be lost without Arb youtube videos.

Did you ever try the round's tether with the rope wrench and a hitch climber pulley and hitch?

No I bought it originally to use with my ZigZag, but found that the Chicane just worked smoother. I really pulled for the Reon Rounds Tether as I loved the look and thought it would run just as well. I felt like it would be too bulky, but I just got the Notch Fusion Tether and I love that setup!

what rope you were using with the zigzag?

I used a Yale Blue Moon and Yale Prism Rope. I admit it might have run smoother on a truly static rope, but those were the only ropes I owned at the time.
