Pit-Fighter - Buzz [Playthrough/LongPlay]
Developer/Publisher: Atari Games
Platform: Arcade
Release Date: 1990
Pit-Fighter is a fighting game developed by Atari Games and released as an arcade video game in 1990. It was Atari's first fighting game. The Japanese release was published by Konami. Home versions were published by Tengen.
The game uses digitized live actors captured through a bluescreen process, where the various poses and moves were performed by actors in front of a video camera. The game's on-screen character animation is replays of the actual footage, not a rotoscoped (redrawn) animation. Pit-Fighter is the second fighting game to use digitized sprites, after Home Data's Reikai Dōshi: Chinese Exorcist.
That Thumbnail is something that modern audiences would love to feast on.
Grabbed him right in the safe space.
Only played this on Genesis. Never seen it at arcades. Couldn't beat it
Oh my....Buzz! What are you doing? 👀😵💫 PitFighter is one of my favorite games to play💪😎🏆 i like to piledriver the enemy on top of the cars and watch the damage and hear the crunch💥💪
Somewhere out there some of these guys are still alive and saying: "I was there, and he was so fit"!
the "90s video rental kickboxing movie" vibes are strong in this one
Nem vou criticar o jogo, praticamente 35 anos de idade já é um idoso dos games
it's important that everyone know I clicked in spite of the thumbnail and not because of it.
Most people today think that this arcade game is terrible and deserves to be in the abyss of gaming. Partly because of the ugly console ports that gave it a bad reputation. But back in the day, it was one of the highest-grossing titles out there, due to its arena style and sinister underground atmosphere, only rescued by Def Jam NY. Pit Fighter is a classic.
Kato (The Asian dude) is portrayed by an Italian-American guy.
1 coin! Wow! 😮
"Hey bro, I think you got the wrong room. The leather club is that way." #iykyk
Tremendo Juego Pit-Fighter Me Acuerdo que cuando chico deciamos que estos eran los Papas del StreetFighter porque los contrincantes tenian algo similar en las vestimentas. pero en fin buen juego Clasico.
That thumbnail is hilarious 😂😂😂😂
Pit Fighter.... I actually liked this one back in the day, although I only got to play it like three or four times. There was an old pizza place I went to with my mom that had this and a couple of other cabinets. Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter II hadn't come out yet, and I was very young, so these digitized graphics looked really impressive. My favorite was Kato. I think I just smashed the special moves over and over, which was usually enough to get past the first guy, and 50/50 chance of the second one before putting another quarter in. I never got far on my own, but saw some of the later levels if one or two other people joined in. It felt great to be part of the team, even if those guys did most of the work lol. Yeah, looking at it from modern times, it's nothing great, but it was entertaining. You can clearly see a lot of inspiration for Mortal Kombat here, from the digitized graphics to the ominous boss sitting around and making sound bites like Shao Khan.
I threw a lot of quarters into this bastard when I was 13
Na alma amigo ! Um pontinho de vida ...
Valeu !
Ahahaha that thumbnail looks like from an adult movie
A very bad low budget 80s porn movie 😂
The arcade version was actually fun never got far but did have a blast with it. The genesis port although not great was still a decent port to play. But that snes port was abysmal I remember renting it at blockbuster video and being so disappointed and pissed with how awful it was.
Buzz el luchador guerrero
So funny with that thumbnail 😂😂😂😂
Thumbnail is extremely sus...
Just you wait.
Talk about scraping the barrel....
An Atari quality Street Fighter game...
A somehow decent mk rip off
@@eng3dPit Fighter is older than SF2 and MK1
@@eng3dAn MK ripoff? Howd that work? Did the Atari crew build a time machine and travel forward 2 years?
This game is pre SF2 by a year and was really popular... so, what barrel were ya talkin' about?
Jeez, handling the last match with so little health made me anticipated lol.
I rented this from Blockbuster on the snes as a kid. This game and Last Action Hero can go to hell! Ruined my whole weekend.
Habré escuchado de Secreto en la Montaña 🤠
