Freeza was hoping the planet would blow in less than 5 minutes. Namek was a very large planet and he underestimated how tough it was.

Easy solution. Because like 30 minutes of the fight was talking and to Frieza and sound can´t be speed up. So yeah Frieza lied so he would hope that Goku makes a mistake
I love that this final scene was so well choreographed that you can actually piece together the scenes into a proper layout. Perfectly written situational awareness where every moment is accounted for and trackable
That's how it was in the whole tournament. The DBS team is a beast.
Alot of the tournament was. It's pretty damn cool. But no one seems to appreciate that because "WAAAWAAAWAAA, TIEN DIDN'T DO ENOUGH, RIBRIANNE LASTED TOO LONG, , 17 TOO STRONG, JIREN SO BAD"...
Not all of the scenes were like this. There were different directors in different episodes. This one had a completely new one.

I was making a joke about all of the other videos that are lazy. This one isn’t lazy.
This one-minute real time version felt like a *real* fight because of how fast paced it is, just like actual real fights.
It’s so cool actually seeing the fight in real time. Like we as the audience can probably guess that all the talking is done while they’re fighting, but to actually see each perspective line up and fully see what the fight was like is beautiful
In the last movie they show Trunks vs Frieza in real time in their perspective and the talking is not noticeable due to how fast they are.
to think that the entire TOP could’ve been done in 2-3 episodes if it was done like that is insane

The most surprising thing to me was the Frieza’s ability to coordinate with others, for someone who either one shot or let his minions handle situations, he actually plays well with others
its cuz hes a prodigy and picks things up fast. but has an ego so it hindered him in the past but his character arc here is really good cuz it shows him growing to overcome his weaknesses.
this deserves many more views than it gets

There are some parts where the animation slows time for dramatic effect with impacts and such but i wouldnt expect anyone to actually go in and change those, that'd be a pain
I loed this.granted the music had to be sacrified to sync perspectives and scenes to make it real time BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT
