Out of all the characters in the main cast, despite all his character growth, vegeta is still the prime candidate to be capable of life lasting bitter hatred towards somebody. There is no need to romanticize such relationships. Frieza brutally tortured and killed Vegeta on Namek and then he told Goku that Vegeta and the Saiyans deserved it. Frieza doesn't care about him at all. Those who somehow sympathize with Frieza are generally crazy. This is not a funny rivalry. The fact that Super laughs at the topic of slavery, racism, sadism, discrimination, humiliation and death of loved ones is generally disgusting
