This anime&manga series Wangan midnight Made me become car mechanic. And it's about 3 years now and I bought 280zx 1 years ago... I didn't modified any of the Z yet, but Everytime I watch this series again, Feels like My Z calls me...
That's awesome man! I bought a, '82 280ZX shortly before watching the series. Wangan Midnight is the reason my car got impounded for high-speed driving. It was becoming a routine for me lol. But I got the car back, and now that I'm making these videos of Wangan Midnight it's really inspiring me to continue upgrading the car.

Just ordered KYB AGX racing coilovers, camber adjusters, strut stabilizers and a few other goodies. Will continue the build as I go and probably upload the odd video on it here and there. =)

He finally moved on and went back to his wife in the suburbs and lived a normal, family life with his son.

The original manga was published in 1990, bubble era Japan. A 180SX should be affordable that time. Even the main character has a Z31 which is a sports car and if his a typical middle class during that era, it's possible for his family to afford one.
