    Oh lord, where to begin?
    Treating Landry like doo-doo
    Running off Jimmy
being the GM during awful draft years of 1994-2002 (which helped end the 90's dynasty early), then 2006-2009 (saddling the Romo era team with defective rosters right up until the end of his career)
being too chickenshit to draft Randy Moss
running the team so thoroughly into the ground in the late 90's that Aikman quit in disgust
for claiming the OL didn't need to block well because "we got a mobile QB" and then not fixing the OL until that QB (Romo) had become a physical wreck from the poundings of the earlier seasons
for daring to think he could replace Aikman with Quincy Carter in 2001
    for the Roy Williams trade
    for the Joey Galloway trade
for even thinking Dave Campo could be a head coach

For the Cowboys fans who have followed the team since the 70's... the worst mistake is Jerry Jones being the owner... His legacy is not winning the Superbowl "SINCE 1996"... My God what a shame... The big question is this: how is it possible that a team that has not win the Superbowl in 26 years is one of the most expensive franchises in world sports? The answer is in Jerry Jones and Las Vegas... the real business of this guy...

"There are 500 coaches who could win with the cowboys" bet he regrets saying that in front of Jimmy more than anything. jerry has fired or run off more Super Bowl winning coaches than any man in the history of the nfl.

Better late than never I guess, even if the other person isn't around anymore. Personally, after 30 years, it all sounds disingenuous anyway. Plain and simple, Tom Landry and Tex Schramm deserved better...period! They sure as hell didn't get it 30 years ago.

  • @patrickmoylan5983

Fact. Landry almost bankrupted Cowboys in 1985 and he should been fired in 1985 when he was suppose to retire then changed his mind after new coach had been hired.

Besides having cheerleader problems, voyeuristic employee problems, and Jerry's OWN problems involving women in elevators, Jerry obviously will be having even more problems to deal with after he fires McCarthy to abide by the demands of the National Black Lawyers Association, the NAACP, Roger Goodell, ABCNBCCBSCNNESPN, and various other forms of the Politically Correct Police to hire what will be the Dallas Cowboys first-ever black head coach.🏈

I totally get he should've handle the Landry situation differently...but his biggest regret should be not keeping his ego in check and letting Jimmy Johnson get away. I fully believe had Johnson been there for at least another 12-14 years, the Cowboys would've been in 5-6 more Supper Bowls and probably win at least 3 of them....if not 4 or more.

I think Jerry turned a corner in 2019 with the prodding of his son Stephen .He made the right moves by cleaning house with the coaching staff at the end of the season ,except OC Kellen Moore and hired Mike McCarthy ,Rams ST coach Bones Fassel ,and eventually hiring Dan Quinn as DC. Cowboys have one of the best scouts in Will McClay .
Things are paying off in 2021 .They are a legit contender for the Super Bowl and don't be surprised if they are representing the NFC in February

Tony Romo, the most talented QB the Cowboys have ever had. If only JJ had assembled a decent defense and a decent RB for him to have a chance to succeed. Towards the end of his career he finally had a good O line, but the first few years he ran for his life!

Yeah Jimmy left due to Jerry but if Jerry didnt have an ego the size of Texas and sat in the office like a good owner Jimmy wouldnt have had a reason to leave. The man literally builds you a dynasty in 4 years and you cant shut your hole for 5 minutes? I truly feel that if Jimmy had stayed they would have not only won at least 4 consecutive Superbowls but they would have been an even bigger threat for the past 30 years with more Superbowl wins. Jerry has already stated the issue with Jimmy was his biggest regret. Jerry needs to shut up and be a check writer and keep his ass off the field and off the tv.
