Jake, this is the most incredible reef video outside of a National Geographic publication. Thank you for publishing this. I hope it wakes up people. Using coral for concrete production. Wow. A villager who could be paving the way for reef conservation. I hope this wakes up people that manage the environment via a desk. We can provide solutions and it might be as simple as planting coral frags that are around the region. Well done!!!

Incredible on all levels. Never doubt your photography, videography, or editing. You create high-quality content and more importantly is that you deliver content with accurate information in a digestible format for anyone.
These videos are timeless and will be relevant to anyone able to see them. As well as serve as an encyclopedia of what exists now and hopefully indefinitely.
The more we can show people what exists in our oceans. The better chances we have at preservation.

We are currently sailing the Solomon Islands and have been moored at Hideaway Bay for a week. We will be snorkelling Simon's nature reserve tomorrow and I will be taking video which will be interesting to compare to this video (which I haven't yet watched because I don't want to spoil it :) )
I'm also downloading a lot of reef restoration information to give to Simon on a spare laptop we have on the boat as he doesn't have any internet access. I have reached out to some coral restoration programs for info to give him also. Any info is appreciated. I'm looking forward to watching this vid tomorrow!!

This video is fantastic, it’s amazing to see how the corals grow naturally in this part of Simons nature preserve in the Solomon Islands 🇸🇧
The corals are in great shape, there huge and colourful, just great to see nature showing at its best in this part of the world.
No aquarium no matter how big, could replicate this in captivity.
Well done Jake, you lucky dude that you are. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This is bay far one of my favorite videos from your production... you raised the bar with this one, and since I am reefing from 2003., I really enjoyed your approach of presenting corals that we see in the hobby living in the wild, with their typical behavior/position in the sea. Congrats Jake, keep up the good work!!

I literally cry real tears of happiness right now that some people care to make this stay with us into the future. I have so much respect for the life in my litle 60g reef now and I will love the shit out of every litle piece of life in it even more.

Jake your videos never cease to amaze me, between you and Than at Tidal Gardens I have learned most of knowledge of coral, and when someone gets me going on my reef I can talk for hours. I wouldn't have that knowledge without you guys. Thanks for working to showcase the efforts of people like Simon, his attitude and the work that he has done shows off what can be done if coral is given space to grow and love.
