Experience Kyoto's 🇯🇵 HIDDEN side before it's TOO LATE!

Welcome back to another episode of our Honeymoon Diaries!
In this vlog, we’re uncovering some of Kyoto’s most peaceful spots and trying out some unforgettable food. 🌸🍛
First up, we hit CoCo Curry, and let me tell you-it’s addictive! We went with mild curry, veggies, and fluffy eggs, and it was perfection. If you’re in Japan, you HAVE to try it! Next, we visited Higashi Hongan-ji, a massive temple right in the city, but it was so peaceful and quiet-it totally surprised us.
Then, we made our way to the serene, moss-covered Hōnenin-it’s a true hidden gem! After that, we checked out Higashiyama Jisho-ji (the famous Silver Pavilion), but heads up, it can get pretty crowded!
We also had an amazing meal at Yudofu Kisaki, where we tried simmered tofu in a traditional setting-so cozy! Finally, we explored the buzzing Nishiki Market, full of unique stalls and even 100 yen sake!

Kyoto, where you can stand in long lines to tour Buddhist temples that all look the same. But we all care a lot about the history of Buddhist sects in Japan don't we?

Long lines are usually for restaurants. We might have visited different Kyoto's because the temples didn't look the same to us 😅
