I also quite liked the Jojakko-ji temple with its scenic view and the Daikaku-ji temple with its lovely little pond. Also, I noticed that souvenir shops in this town were a little bit nicer than in other places. There is so much to discover in Arashiyama. It was really one of the highlights of my trip to Kyoto :)

Tenryuji Temple is quite crowded (but I enjoyed visiting Tenryuji Temple during cherry blossom season, it was very beautiful). I love exploring Jojakko-ji Temple and Gioji Temple in the Summer and Autumn.
