Just remember not every morning is like this! Everyone has bad mornings, it's completely normal. It's ok to not feel productive all the time, so go easy on yourself. Remember to try your best to stick to a routine that works for you and don't lose hope if some days aren't exactly how you anticipated. :)
I like keeping my morning routine simple so that I don't clutter the mind with activities. 1. Get up @6 AM 2. Exercise 3. Brush/Cold Bath 4. Coffee/Breakfast Start to work.
Cold showers are one of the best habits to kickstart your day. I've been doing them since a couple of years now but I always start out warm and finish cold for 20-30 secs. It takes away a lot of the antipathy haha

Tip for cold showers. When you turn the shower and get in, do it fast. Once in you want to spin around to get everything in your body touching the cold. This will get you used to the cold much faster and less miserable
I'll try and adopt this morning routine 1. Wake up and switch off alarm (far away from the bed) 3. Put on music (to get me hyped up for the day, there's no better motivator than looking forward to the day ahead) 2. Drink water (from the water bottle I filled up the night before) 3. Stretches (this is going to be hard) 3. Take a cold shower (i think this is going to be really hard for me as well but ill try ) 4. Lotion (cos doesn't everyone hate it when their skin is super dry) 5. Foooood! (healthy obviously)

I have massive anxiety when ever I wake up. My eyes start burning I would get an extreme headache which makes me even more exhausted and I already felt like I wanted to go back to bed. I realized my problem. My problem was that I didnt have a set morning routine because I didn't know how to follow a morning routine. I'd feel exhausted even tho I get enough sleep. So I decided to make a simple and easy to follow morning routine for me to help calm my anxiety down. This vid helped me so much and I felt so much energy the first time I did my morning routine. Now I'll probably stick to it for my whole life. My life was so miserable waking up tired and exhausted. Thanks for the information I appreciate it.
I love taking cold showers, but can never take them during those cold Canadian winters. Breakfast, stretching and a quick meditation session is always a must. I like to journal if I have time as well.

Awesome you mentioned cold showers here! It seems daunting at first, but it also has health benefits! Traditional eastern medicine has been doing this for centuries! (But growing up in the Philippines, I just didn’t have a choice lol 😂 🇵🇭)
keep your alarm far away hydrate and exercise (mainly stretch) cold shower cause it's like a coffee without the caffeine (take a warm shower and make it cold in the last 20-30 seconds) breakfast (balanced diet) meditate determine your goals for the day

I'll work on my mindfulness routine, because it's easily something I could do, while my tea brews/steeps. Great idea!
Cold showers in the morning trigger intense migraines for me unfortunately. I can do everything else just fine haha just have to be disciplined enough not to go back to sleep.
What I do is that I set a 15 min alarm for me to shower and change completely and not switch on the geyser before hand. This means that the water will have lesser time to heat up and I will indirectly force myself to take a cold shower.
I have enjoyed cold showers since I was a kid. Even in the winter and my mom would get furious 🤣 glad to know there is science now to back my obsession with cold showers...Great music btw 🔥
Cold showers are incredible when I take them but it's just so easy to go other way! Might have to do a Matt D'Avella and force myself through 30 days of cold showers 🤣 Also didn't know too much about the dermatological impacts, learnt something new here!
Hahaha that’s real commitment if you do that. Personally I started taking cold showers long ago not by choice but because my water heater broke for a while. Then I did more research into it and just stick with it. There are def benefits to warm showers as well, for me personally since my skin is on the sensitive side, the pros of cold showers outweigh the cons :)

More intense exercise is so good for you, I wouldn't want to short myself on it. 1) Block out enough time in the morning for you to actually achieve your target heart rate 2) exercising on an empty stomach fasting from the night before is great for burning fat 3) drink water before you start because you lost water over night 4) exercise before you shower :)

Try making the eggs in the microwave to avoid oil and frying. Just mix it on a cup, add a little bit of milk if you want and for 2 min in max microwave. Cover to avoid splatter and/or check each minute or less then just add avocado and tomato as always
I think you should also use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Also while you are doing morning exercise, you should also use a ice pack so that you can do 100 and be more productive 🙂
I am always wondering how people can brush their teeth just before breakfast, without letting letting the mint taste ruining their breakfast and coffee.
AI do cold showers in summer.... but in winter cold showers are very cold... Its anywhere from 5-8C here in the mornings and our water tank is freestanding and outside, meaning that the water is too cold to shower with unfortunately... at least it will knock the wind out of you if you do

Mike and Matty: I read these when I’m feeling down and depressive, or in a bad mood. I see it as a way to manage my emotions and have more control of my thoughts. 💭
Mike and Matty: The inspiration of this came from a rapper called “NF”. Often in his lyrics he would give emotions human-form. Such as, talking to fear, anger, joy, and ect. as if they’re a person he’s having conversation with. This enables you to actually evaluate the different parts of emotions that make up who you are. I recommend just listening to one of his songs, “Mansion” if you have the time.
Hey, love the videos and have been binging the learning ones lately for my psychology studies. What I'm a little surprised about is that you as a doctor would take two eggs as a protein in your first meal to break the fast. Multiple studies (Dr. Layman just to drop a name) have shown that ~2.5g (depends on bweight) are needed to initiate proteinbiosynthesis and two eggs have 1.2g. Any reason or just not concerned with your sceletal muscle?

yea there are pros and cons to taking hot and cold showers. If you are not feeling well or if you are actually sick, should probably avoid cold showers. For me, the benefits of cold showers outweigh the risks, and the cons of hot showers (especially the skin irritation) makes it difficult for me to enjoy
Do we need to wash our hair in the morning with cold shower to get full benefits, cause girl usually didnt wet their hair cause its take time to drying it...?

Be careful you all, many of these stretches are actually yoga poses that have also been scientifically shown to cause phsychological and physiological problems- some of which I can attest to. I admire the discipline, but watch out for yoga and mindfulness meditation- its Hinduistic practice at its roots that opens ourself up to a dark spiritual realm. Only Jesus leads to truth and life. What I'm a little surprised about is that you as a doctor would take two eggs as a protein in your first meal to break the fast. Multiple studies (Dr. Layman just to drop a name) have shown that ~2.5g (depends on bweight) are needed to initiate proteinbiosynthesis and two eggs have 1.2g. Any reason or just not concerned with your sceletal muscle?

yea there are pros and cons to taking hot and cold showers. If you are not feeling well or if you are actually sick, should probably avoid cold showers. For me, the benefits of cold showers outweigh the risks, and the cons of hot showers (especially the skin irritation) makes it difficult for me to enjoy
Do we need to wash our hair in the morning with cold shower to get full benefits, cause girl usually didnt wet their hair cause its take time to drying it...?

Be careful you all, many of these stretches are actually yoga poses that have also been scientifically shown to cause phsychological and physiological problems- some of which I can attest to.
I admire the discipline, but watch out for yoga and mindfulness meditation- its Hinduistic practice at its roots that opens ourself up to a dark spiritual realm.
