For those using Lossless Scaling, the following steps may help: 1. Run the game in DirectX 11. 2. Make a few changes in the game’s graphics settings: "Resolution: 1280x720", "Supersampling: FSR 1.0", "FSR 1.0: Quality", "Shadows Quality: Low", "Shaders Quality: Medium", "SSR: Off". 3. Use Lossless Scaling to boost FPS: First, run Lossless Scaling with admin privileges and apply the following settings: "Scaling Type: AMD FSR", "Frame Generation: LSFG 2.3", "Mode: X2". The game should not be in full screen mode. With my laptop that has an MX330 graphics card (almost the same as a GT1030) and a 10th generation i3 processor, I was able to get around 25-30 FPS without significantly reducing the image quality.
@@sadmansalvatore5377 if you have it on steam, it's easy mate: basically right click it on your library, click properties, after that on the bottom of that window you'll be seeing "launch options" type "-DX11" on that bar. that's it. but, if you have the game through "other" ways, i got you still: on the desktop, right click the game's shortcut, select properties, after that you'll be seeing "target:" on that window. for example if the directory is as: ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Silent Hill 2 Remake\SHProto.exe" add -DX11 on that directory. it should be as: ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Silent Hill 2 Remake\SHProto.exe" -DX11" i managed to run on directx 11 in this way tho, hope it helps.
My PC allows me to play this game at 32000p at a locked 720 fps and advanced ray traced lighting, reflections, and shadows all at one time. It cost me 219,000 dollars to build it and it is giant.
I think starting the game in DirectX 11 should be the first step before the rest of this tutorial. Check pinned comment on how to do that. Do you really need to go higher then 60 fps? Sticking around 62-80 should be the goal to ensure constant 60 fps. I would say get to a part where there's multiple mobs and then go from there on adjusting everything.

The main concern of lowering the resolutions is does the map readable without zooming in? I've tried this and the map was so blurry I barely read anything like the name of the room written on the map. I wish there would be a mod that makes the map readable on lower resolutions without affecting the map element itself.
Hi, I have a Intel HD 520 laptop (Core I-5 6200, 8GB), do you think I can run this game and apply your setting with it? If it can, I'll definitely uy it from steam
Since the game is new, the developers are likely monitoring its performance across various systems, especially given that it runs poorly even on higher-end machines. It's common for developers to release performance patches in response to these issues, so I believe they will definitely roll out updates to improve stability and performance. They want to ensure a good experience for all players, so keep an eye out for those patches!
its because the game launches in dx11 by default on gtx cards. simple create a shortcut of the game exe and add -dx12 to the parameters. you'll get fsr 3 in options
@@PotatoSpecGamer it does support. adding -dx12 to launch options enables fsr 3 and adding" r.FidelityFX.FI.Enabled=1" in Engine.ini enables FG and it works quite well

I'm using a Zephyrus G14.
Ryzen 9
Rtx 4070
32gb ram.
And the game runs terrible at 1440p. (We're talking about 40-45 FPS)
where is the code in the description?
the problem here is in my ryzen 7 5700g they crush in DX12 only DX11 works fine that's the reason theirs no fsr 3.0 only fsr 1.0
Lossless scaling works very well for low-end here, but does create additional ghosting around the character

Great video!
my laptop is capable but the stutters are annoying, how do i prevent them without sacrificing anything?
just enable frame generation thn
Cap the fps ?
yep it works too
You wait for about 4-6 months for them to optimize the game and fix it. XD
stuttering can be solved by locking fps to 60 or if your gpu is to weak then to 30 fps.
How to run the game in my intel hd 4600 In dx 11 mode

straight to the point, no
big NO
No, you need a Nvidia graphics card or an AMD graphics card. Intel alone is not enough and will never be enough.
