Hi Lipstick Gal! I have been using Omniluxe LED mask pretty much daily since July 2023. It's easy. 10min only. I'm very happy with results. I'm like you & use very good skincare. I also have Nuface. This one takes motivation for me to use. It can become time consuming when you do all the different glides you can do. I am trying to commit to at least 5day/ wk. I thought about Nira but the price is holding me back. Glad you have seen results. Please keep us updated. Maybe I'll wait for black friday. I use Agency for my tretinoin & luv it. I receive many compliments about my skin. So I must be doing something right. I agree. That's me time when you beautify😂

@@mztango I've been thinking about picking up the z i p p. I'm not sure how it differs from the new face but I'm intrigued by microcurrent technology. Using devices is dedicated me time, and I enjoy it. It's late enough in the day that it doesn't interfere with any of my regular chores or activities. By that point I'm already winding down for the day and what better way than with skin care.

Thank you for mentioning that one thing that can influence the results you get is how good your skin is when you start!
I see lots of people give up on products quickly because they didn’t see dramatic results when they have great skin to begin with. 😖
I have the LED masks and do see results. I stopped using them weekly, more like 2 or 3 times per month. The biggest benefit I see is when I use them before and after in-office treatments. I recover faster when I use them.

    • @thelipstickgal
      @thelipstickgal  4 месяца назад

Ooh, I'm sure the LED mask works great after office treatments. I think it's important to mention that my skin is in fairly good condition for nearly 50. I don't expect major improvements, but I did see some under the eyes, and my forehead lines are less intense. That's a win in my book! I'll continue to use this and hope to maintain the improvements.

Thank you for your review. I have the earlier version of the Nira, and I feel it does work well depending on your expectations. What I want to call your attention to is your hyperpigmentation spot ... I have one on my left cheek. Here is what I have found is helping tremendously (no joke). I follow a cosmetic derm here on RUclips, Shereene Idriss. Now she created her own line of products, but I am not trying to push her product line to you (so please bear with me for a moment). She has done some great videos explaining what she put in her products and their effectiveness on those types of issues. It was actually a comment she happened to make during one of the videos that was explaining her Flash Mask gel. The first few times I used it personally, it does sort of sting/burn from the acids in it (I did my whole face). But she stated she gave some to her mother (or some relative) to try and her mother started using the mask as a 'spot treatment' for age spots on her hands. The lightbulb in my head went off and for the past 2 weeks I have been applying just a small amount (less than pea size) just on that spot on my cheek. The spot is going away (her mother also exclaimed it was helping fade away the age spots on her hands). So what I would encourage you to do is watch a couple of the videos about her Flash Mask product and maybe just try that one on that hyperpigmentation to see if you get the same fading away result. I know (first hand) how frustrating a spot like that can be, so this is just a suggestion for what may help. I think the Flash Mask is around $45 and Sephora is now carrying her product line. Would love to hear back if you try it and get positive results. And thanks again for the great review on Nira. BTW, I'm 70 and have only started really paying attention to good skin care information for the past two years.

Thanks so much for watching today. I ordered the Dr. Idriss Flash mask a week ago, and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I thought that was a better place to start than with the serum or the moisturizer. I'll have to use the mask on my spots and see how it works. Thanks for the suggestion.

❤🎉 Glad it's working for you!! People for years have told me how good my skin looks. And for years (decades) I've been using Lindsay Wagner New Beauty Facial Acupressure book (I think that's the title). So that's pretty much my main "tool", in addition to pretty good skin care. 🙂❤️💄
Edit: Oh it's New Beauty The Acupressure Facelift, I was close lol.

I'm going to have to check out the acupressure faicelift book. Sounds interesting. I'm all about doing what I can to keep my face in good shape. I'm trying to avoid any in office procedures, and be content with my face as I age. I'm not trying to look 25, but rather a healthy version of myself.

@@thelipstickgal I just had to tell you lol. After living all these many years owning only Chanel No5 Parfum a few times (the Airport or de Paris versions, granted nothing to sneeze at), I bit the bullet and ordered from Dior online. Oh my gosh, the Rouge Dior lipstick in 200 Nude Touch Satin is a beautiful warm color and feels like nothing I've ever had on my lips before!! Your lipstick reviews helped me decide so thank you !! But that Satin formula wow!!
And I love the special unique feel and look of the Rouge Blush 449 Dansante Satin. Even the included little brush is perfect for a soft application -- I think it would be difficult to overdo this blush which is what I want for days when my skin is cooperating and needs only subtle help.
The samples also are cute -- an actual little miniature glass bottle of perfume and two of those spray perfume things. You're used to this type of goodie box from PR but for a mere peasant like me, it feels like Christmas lol. 🙂
Just had to tell you and thank you for your time and work making those videos!! 🤗😍❤️💄Viva le Dior lol. 😁

I don't get PR that often, so I'm always looking for the samples or free gift with purchase to try out other products from the line. Thanks for trusting me on my love of the Dior satin formula. It's so good!

I’ve been soooo interested and wanting to try the LED mask from Current Body, but can’t pull the trigger 😂I have been on Tretinoin and it has made a huge difference, as well as SPF always, and my serums and skin care. I feel good but will be incorporating more facials and the included deplaning. I don’t want to fall into the inevitable rabbit hole of treatmrnts😂😂. However, I have a consult Thursday for lip filler. Yikes

Lip filler is the first place I would start. (or maybe botox for my forehead lines) I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to either right now. I'm trying to address as much as possible at home as I can. Good luck with the consultation. Let me know how it goes.

Gm ... would you mind typing below the condition you have that is triggered by Vitamin A? I'd like to learn about it. Regarding the device, I was sad to see that it did not help the hyperpigmentation due to early sun damage. I have one hyperpigmentation spot that I would not mind fading. The only thing that seems to help is high concentration Vitamin C, however that is only temporary. I find my best results come from acupressure.

I have Pseudotumor Cerebri It's also called Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension. (or IIH) I have a shunt to help divert excess spinal fluid out of my head. My body already makes more spinal fluid than I need, so anything that could increase production of spinal fluid could cause some serious issues intracranially for me. Vitamin A doesn't always increase spinal fluid production, and if it does, normal brains have an easy time getting rid of it. Since my brain doesn't work the way it was designed to, none of my doctors will prescribe Tretinoin or any other Vitamin A medication.

Don't do it if you're not in the habit of using it. There are others that I've purchased in the past that just sit there. The price of this one made me set a schedule, and I was wanting to see if there was improvement. I had small improvements but that's because I already take really good care of my skin. I wish it had worked on my dark spots. : (

I feel like my under eyes and upper lids/eyebrows look tighter. As do my forehead lines. Not my 11s, but the ones that collect foundation. I can use Hydroquinone, but I'm not currently.
Staying out of the sun and using sunscreen is the first line of defense for me. I noticed that I'm getting more age spots on my face as I age. It makes sense, but I'm not happy about it. My hands certainly need some help from all the years I've been driving and haven't reapplied sunscreen after washing my hands. I'm trying to be better at it, but . . .
