very good, you are the first one to cover the FCM file back to the pc instead of the other way. I guess you can take an SVG in to an FCM file then send it to the Computer and make a Stitch file out the FCM file too cool. thanks
Hi This is What I want to do. I have Canvas & The Brother CW 35O (2) I Also have Brother Quattro2 (6700D) ok... so I am a fiber artist and I draw 1940 's Childrens animation art and I want to scan it and send it to my Brother quattro to embroidery the designs. I dont want to iron the back of the fabric and then send it to scan n cut because I do applique freehand. Can I turn a Any "SVG or JPEG" File into FCM and Turn it into ".PES" to Embroidery? Also..... About 2yrs ago l met " A Brother" representative, he Showed me how to scan a design on "my-design tablet" then save it to USB, than put the USB in sewing machine and it Should work that way I Also have PE Design11 Trail Version any and ALL FEEDBACK help is needed is wanted. Thank you Diane
So there are two answers. Yes, you can take any SVG or JPEG file and turn it into a FCM file for your Scan-N-Cut. But to take it from there to the embroidery machine, you would need to use a digitizing program like PE-Design.
Good morning. I have been trying for 2 days to transfer my images from canvasworkspace to my pe designs 11 and it is just not working. I did what you said, and I get nothing in that box. Please help, I'm about to throw the whole kitten kaboodle out the door.
Would you be so kind to share how to adjust scan n cut file to embroider the design... my cut files and embroidery stitching do not line up. 1. Appliqué Material 2. Appliqué Placement / Position Stitch 3. Tack Down Stitch 4. Appliqué (Final) I am using PE Design 11; Scan N Cut 650; Brother 1050X. Step by Step: 1. I use PE Design 11 and use appliqué wizard to create the design; 2. Create & export FCM file to scan n cut; 3. Save the design file on usb for embroidery. Issue: My cut file is always larger than the position stitch; thus I ALWAYS have to trim the tack down stitching once it’s been placed... leaving the final stitch to look ragged and unclean! What am I doing wrong? HELP PLEASE
I have been having problems adjusting the amount of inset on the applique with PE-Design 11 as well. I am working with Brother to find a solution since they have it in their other software, but at this point, it is not in the PE-Design yet.

Can this be done on PE 10
Yes, the buttons are in a different place, but I believe you still can do it.
