    At 04:57 you'll notice how we add the wifi hub and hose end timer separately. I have come to realize that in order to use the hose end timer in WIFI mode you have to tap into the WIFI hub and add the hose end timer inside of that menu for it to work via WIFI. Otherwise it'll only be in Bluetooth mode.

    • @DIYReid
      @DIYReid  3 года назад

      The app is a bit weird. On the main screen when it lists your hub and then your timer. If you tap on your timer on that screen you can only view it in Bluetooth mode. If you tap on the hub and then tap on the timer there that’s in Wi-Fi mode. If your timer doesn’t exist in the Wi-Fi hub screen you’ll just need to add the timer in that screen.

    I do own the Orbit B-Hyve XD 24511 that I bought from Lowes along with the optional WiFi. Does Irrigold has automatic rain delay and rain gauge? I noticed that the Orbit B-Hyve XD 24511 is not as weatherproof as compared to Irrigold. Should I switch, because the HOT SUN did damage the LCD Screen on the Orbit B-Hyve XD 24511.

      @@DIYReid yes indeed. I have a bit of a peculiar situation where my hose bibs are offset front to back of the house, and one is on the left and one is on the right. Trying to decided 1) which controller brand to use and 2) if I need 2 controllers with 2 sprinklers on each, or just 1 controller with 2 sprinklers. Looking at going with a classic style sprinkler head with approx 40ft radius but expecting that to drop if I have 2 on one line.
      Was reading Amazon reviews of the b-hyve and saw how many complaints there are about the software, made me want to give IRRIGOLD a try after seeing you walk through the app.
