Good overview - thanks for making this video. I just purchased with the sensor and looking forward to keeping the recently planted garden watered without the daily fuss! The weather based delay is a neat feature. Does it fire a rule based on the forecast or actual rainfall amount? Do you use the sensor input instead of the weather input?

How many zones can one hub handle?
Is the App geared for multiple hubs?
How long dues the battery last?
Should the pressure reducing station go before or after the timer?
Can you review this head to head with the Rachio timer and application?
I'm trying to setup a smart drip irrigation system and right now there's very little out there explaining how to do it.

Do you think I can use the lawn moisture meter to monitor a newly planted tree? 🤔
I think it can help. Not sure how you’ll know if the tree needs more water as it’s just measuring soil around it.
So, you have an iPhone... Doesn't this work with HomeKit?
It would be great if you can connect the timer to the hub and to your wireless as otherwise it is a piece of junk
That’s how it works. It connects to the hub and the hub connects to your wifi.
It breaks easily made out of plastic
If you treat it poorly it will. Mines still going strong and I even left it outside in the Midwest winter.
I got the version with metal top connection. Came with a 5 year guarantee. You can also pay a few dollars for Amazon protection plan. Consider a hammer arrestor to protect your purchase. Happy irrigating!
