Kimi is going to be a future f1 star for sure, he just looks the part. But on a serious note, he has a good record and starting his career in a decent car so young is going to be great for him. I think the formula one grid is going to be stacked with great drivers within the next few years, will be interesting to see how it plays out
So many rookies will be interesting for sure. This is why everyone should watch f2. but I guess if they don't they have people like you to fill them in on what they've missed. great job
I think Kimi is undercooked. He would benefit for an additional season at f2, since he skipped f3; as well as 1-2 years in a williams before going with the big boys with big pressure. This could be too early. I think Bortoleto is probably the "most ready" for f1, but he will drive a tractor that wont show his skills. Looks like a consistent folk. The others... comers and goers. Maybe Hadjar if given the opportunity will perform.

I think it’ll be really interesting to see how all the rookies measure up against each other given how many different teams they’ll be representing so could really vary depending on how some teams development goes over the winter. also keen to see if there’s gonna be a lot more crashes with so many rookies (I hope not…👀)

Bortoleto's evolution is frightening. He lives in the simulator. Don't get me wrong, but I notice that he has that predator instinct. I don't know how to explain it very well, but he seems to have something very special.
Just want to note that Kimi's first season in cars that you mentioned (2021 italian f4) he only raced the last 3 rounds (from 7 total) and (like you said) still scored p10 in the championship with 3 podiums (all in the last round)
DTM liam was taken out by the teammate of the Championship winner. It was unbelievable. Liam is driving like a senior driver and not putting his car in the wall so far. I am sure he will be not yet.

@@luccasdubai Bearman is the paid driver with the rich family and no results to justify it. Hadjar has massively outperformed Antonelli, Bearman and Colapinto in F2 so he deserves the opportunity.

Liam is statically worse than yuki. Yuki at least deserves next season in the redbull and if it doesn't work out fine switch them but it's just unfair for yuki if Liam gets it.

I’ve heard that his driver feedback isn’t very good and that they want a driver who is more calm up against max. Maybe they worry that Yuki would be too aggressive on the radio all the time? I think while winning back-to-back F3 and F2 championships is impressive, it’s actually getting quite common. Since modern F2 was created in 2017, half of the champions have done it (Leclerc, Russell, Piastri, Bortoleto)
@@filipnielsen1000 that’s a very good point! Perhaps it says more about the teams than the drivers? Most drivers tend to do it back to back with the same team. It does seem to be double champs or the f2 title is won by someone in their 3rd year
It's because usually the Prema or ART teams win, because the team structure is better and they have better engineers too. The only one that broke the rule of those mentioned is Bortoleto. But this year the F2 regulations changed, which may have changed the order of the best teams.
