This little thing is called the Evapolar. It's a desktop air conditioner that you can place anywhere without a need to vent it like a traditional air conditioner. It's not as powerful as a standard air conditioner, but it's a cool solution if you need to create a microclimate.
From the manufacturer -
Evapolar emulates a similar natural air cooling process unlike most air conditioners that simply create a strong flow of cold dry air that may lead to catching a cold.
Evapolar captures large particles of dust from the airflow making it easier for you to breathe thus improving your productivity.
No need for installation - just plug it in and feel the sensation. All you need is a wall socket to immediately feel the cooling effects of this portable air conditioning unit. No screws, drills, or heavy lifting required.

Are you fucking kidding me. $250 for a swamp cooler? Literally all that is, is a fan and a water pump. I've made those myself for under $20 before. By the way, they only work in dry climates. They perform extremely poorly if the humidity is already high.

It's a fucking mini swamp cooler.
Or evap. cooler if anyone wants to know.
Exactly. False advertising.
And in high humidity, it won't function any better than a regular fan!
In a house with a dead central a/c unit and rooms that are unbearably hot and humid wouldn't this make things worse? This puts more moisture into the air I would think. That's the opposite of what you'd want if it's an un-air conditioned room, humidity build up + more water pumped into the air by this = even more of an oven room.
it probably doesn't mix the water and the air, but just makes the air go through some sort of watercooled pipe

I live in Shanghai, and this little thing reminds me of an interesting story. In 2008 Spain expo, they basically took the physics behind this thing, and replaced air conditioners. There were spays of very thin water at various locations, and it was cool. So two years later designers at Shanghai went, hmmm, looks effective, and they went on to copy it over to 2010 Shanghai expo. And it failed. Pretty dramatically. You see, Shanghai's average humidity is around 75%. Many times it can go up to 80 or 90. Well, when water (and sweat) cant evaporate, those water sprays basically just wetted everyone's cloth even more than they already are. Added to the fact that there were just so many people at Shanghai expo (like, the queue time for the exhibition with the shortest queue, was around one hour. The one with the longest queue has something like 8 hours queue time. Crazy.), every queue was literally a steam room. This is just a simple example that shows the weakness of this technology.
Interesting story man. So in the case of the 2010 expo, using a dehumidifier and more fan circulation or a real air conditioner would have been a more effective solution.
Indeed. Dehumidifiers are pretty popular here in Shanghai. I just went to Yellowstone in US and back. Temperature there once shot up to 42C and it felt pretty much the same as 32C in Shangahi, all because of the humidity difference.
do you realise that dehumidifier use the exact same tech as an AIR conditioner? the biggest difference is that the AC pumps out the hot air separately while the dehumidifier pushes the hot air back into the room which helps remove water with condensation but also creates more heat than it removes.
I actually just realized. I get the physics, pretty straight forward. But still, 40C/30% feels better than 30C/80% trust me. =)

I think it works better than the usual swamp cooler, and that's simply because the water filter is longer, giving the fan air more time to move through and cool down, which theoretically should result in colder air coming out of the cooler.

No, it's an expensive fan and sponge in a box.
+Übermensch well fans don't cool the air they just push it, this cools the air so it's a mini AC
actually its a evaporative cooler as you evaporate water the phase change uses massive amounts of energy (relatively speaking) this is the same principle swamp coolers and PC bong coolers use to cool the water and or air down. if you do it properly you can get up to about 12 deg. delta if the humidity is low enough. Thought he downside is they raise the humidity in the surrounding area.
+Alex Mcm you can't call people retards if you don't know how ACs cool air
An AC takes heat out of the cold side's exhaust air and moves it to the hot side's airflow. This thing only has one air inlet and outlet, which means that all of the energy at the inlet must still be at the outlet, albeit in a different form. How does it achieve that with water? Most likely by using an ultrasonic water atomizer: the ultra-fine water droplets get mixed into the airflow by the fan and the evaporation energy (it takes a fair amount of energy for water to go from liquid to gas) is what drops the air temperature.

At the end of the day your room will be warmer than before **T H E R M O D Y N A M I C S**
YES! I guess he doesn't understand this will literally heat his room. It's creating more heat than cool air. It seems he doesn't understand the laws of thermodynamics.
@Bob Kennedy Do you understand how air conditioning works?
@Bob Kennedy In simple terms without getting into the phases of the refrigerant the ability to Cool Air Comes from the ability to remove heat from the air before running air over a Coil. The reason you have a compressor on the outside of the house it the fact that it is removing heat from a line of refrigerant that is making contact with the heat spreader and then that now cool line goes back into the AC coil in the furnace supply ductwork and keep using this process until the call of cool air goes away. So when we are making cool air we not not simply making the air colder but removing the heat from it at the outside condenser. If you were to put that condenser in the home it would simply blow hot air into the home as you cool it and the inefficiency of electric motors and such would generate additional heat. Air Conditioning requires you to remove the heat so if you have an all in one "Air Conditioner" the front would blow the cool air but the heat removed would simply radiate off the back. God this was a horrible explanation you might just find a read online to be more organized
Dumbness at its finest.
Or buy an air conditioner that cools your whole house for the same price.
Something like this would be nice for relaxing outside on a hot/warm day
no for that buy a freestanding swamp cooler. something that can push a 1000 cubic feet + of air a minute. this will just leave u unsatisfied especially if a small breeze kicks up cause that tiny fan is lucky if its moving a 100cuft a min. not to mention the freestanding ones arent really anymore expensive
How are you gonna "buy an air conditioner that cools your whole house for the same price" for your office at work? With massive windows that don't even open? Better yet, what if your office, at work, doesn't even have windows? What if you travel and work at many locations? You really find it hard to think outside your little bubble, don't you.
Mike K this AC is no different than a swamp cooler which only cost like 20 bucks for a handheld one on ebay
BIG D id look into a freestanding AC unit for that. it lets u exhaust the hot air out a window. this little guy is going to make a tiny cab a hot sticky mess and in no way will provide the cooling btu's needed. probly just better off idling though

this is nothing more than a high-priced miniature evaporative cooler. it should work alright in areas of low humidity, but if you live in places like Houston or Atlanta or Chicago more Ohio or any of those places where there is relatively high this is not going to do any good. it will just blow soggy air. and at $179 it's the price of a small window unit air conditioner.
well indoor rooms are often much lower relative humidity than outside air. and Lew is in Toronto, where they have very high humidity in summer (summer now, video made recently). Of course it is only going to work in a small space for limited time, but far less hassle than AC
I live in new orleans and this thing works great for me. Living in louisiana the humidity is always high and I have no problems. I even had this camping over the weekend it worked great.
+Corey Skipper glad to hear it works out for you Corey. do you have air conditioning or just the normal Sea Breeze for cooling your house?
IS an evaporative cooler the same as a swamp cooler? That's my first reaction to what this is.
yes swamp cooler is a slang term used in place of evaporative cooler. it's called an evaporative cooler because warm dry air passes through one or more pads that are saturated with water. as the dry air passes through those pads the water and the pads evaporates causing the air to increase in humidity and at the same time lowering its temperature. evaporative coolers work best in dry climates inside of air-conditioned rooms (where ).don't really need them anyway
humdity: *I'm about to destroy this mans carrer*
I saw a video on bloomberg tech about one where they have a filter membrane that gets rid of humidity to make the cooler perform optimally
It's a swamp cooler. It passes air through a damp "filter" and the water absorbs heat out of the air. Despite the name, they work best in dry environments. The closer you are to 100% humidity, the water in the device won't be able to absorb heat. It's called a "swamp cooler" because in places like Phoenix AZ, it's 0% humidity and 110f outside. Before an AC was developed that could handle being run 24/7 in an environment that never drops below 90f in the summer, everyone had "swamp coolers" (AC's were too expensive to buy and run too). You would trade 110f and 0% humidity for 80-90f and 50-100% humidity indoors. Hot and humid like a swamp. An "Air Conditioner" is actually a heat exchanger. It has a closed gas loop, compresses the gas outdoors, it gets super hot. Then it passes through a radiator outside, returns to ambient temperature, then returns indoors. The gas is rapidly expanded, becomes ice cold (literally, your freezer works the same way), passes through a radiator indoors, and that's where you get the cold air. Then the gas continues back outside to be compressed and start over. Now, the humidity in air condenses when it gets cold like a sweating beer can. It does this rather well on the cold radiator of an AC because how cold it is plus the surface area. This leaves you with a de-humidifying effect and dry air indoors. A miniature swamp cooler can really take advantage of this, because the air is always near 0% humidity. It's actually a pretty clever device if you already like having a desk fan, but it also can cool the air a few degrees, uses very little power (2.5 to 12.5 watts) and looks pretty nice.
That sounds helpful

This is not an airconditioner lol, an airconditioner is a heat pump that can never be placed fully inside a room because needs to "output" the heat outside the room. This just a fkin mini air cooler, it's "technology" is the equivalent of putting a wet sack in front of the fan. You could DIY one youself with a sack/wettable material, a fan and a mini pump for about 35 bucks or less.
And air conditioners also remove condensation whereas this one specifically cools by blowing air across a wet surface and creating more condensation. Evaporative cooling. I could smack the people who decided to put this technology in mini-fridges in hotels.
an air conditioner is a condenser* not a heat pump. a heat pump can be an air conditioner but its not what makes it function, the compressor and condenser do the work its a heat pump because its equipped to handle emergency heat in case your electric furnace happens to go out.
this is simply an electric evaporator that runs as a low pressure chiller
+Nathan “Nathadeous” Anderson an airconditioner contains a condenser as one of its components but it is not the condenser alone. the term "heat pump" is more general and applies to many hvac (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) devices used for space heating or space cooling. Evaporative cooling are not considered heat pumps since it differs from typical AC systems which use vapor compression or absorption refrigeration cycles.
Nathan Anderson that was the largest amount of bullshit anyone has ever spouted off on RUclips in history and that's saying something. I really hope you don't work in the HVAC trade.
It's just evaporative cooling and it wont work in high humidity area. It works just because the air in your office is dry because of the air conditioning system. Blowing dry & cold air through the thing does making the temperature lower because the evaporation of water took the heat from the dry air and make it more humid.
Bought something similar in London and wasn't impressed
hoveball it's called a swamp cooler. It won't work in a humid place like the uk
Dominus Mammon being completely honest that makes perfect sense and I hadn't considered that. They sell them there, I believe, as a more energy efficient alternative and don't think I've ever seen window AC units available to buy let alone in any windows. Feel a but duped but should've done more research before buying it in the first place.
hoveball dont feel too bad. It's just companies trying to take advantage of people
Anas Takiyudin I don’t own this but I own two portable fans. The regular fan is ineffective in humid conditions. The one that uses water breaks through humidity. This uses water. Are you certain it doesn’t work in humidity?
It's an evaporative cooler. It basically dissipates water in order to cool the air. Also known as "swamp coolers"
IKR, and they only work in low humidity
Those things are bloody useless. I've got a large-sized one that is almost as big as a portable A/C, but the air that it blows is no different with or without water except for the fact that all the mould and bacterial biofilm grows in the water reservoir.
Their not made to get that cold, yep high humidity would suck. If you lived in the desert it would definitely come in handy.
these things are bloody useless in the Australian summer, even in South Australia (The driest state) they still do jack shit and just make you sweat easier.
ikr i am sweating right now
I remember my parents having some '50's "swamp-cooler" that we used occasionally. On hot days I remember, if you put your hand in front of the vent, you partially imagined you felt cool air. These play on the mind more than anything. Between the air movement, wanting to believe you spent your money well, and the slight cooling effect pulled off the added cold water - viola! I haven't used one of these, but I assuming it's the same old story.
Probably useful in arid climates but not in high humidity areas that can suffer extreme heat
Swamp coolers work but the name is kinda ironic they don't work in places with high humidity like where I live in Mississippi the humidity is rarely below 90% in the summer but when I was in dry dry Wyoming it made a big difference
I'm writing this comment from my second floor bedroom. It's 76 degrees, but my Evapolar is blasting out 64 degree air. It's FAR more comfortable than trying to sleep when it never drops below 75, even with air conditioning.
this would sell like crazy if it was 50$
Fidel Guevara arctic air is 30.00
$50 is better than a heatsroke
I've been seeing people putting a dot while writing 4 digit numbers or more(like you put a dot after 30.00). Is this a new thing?
This looks like an evaporation cooler, which will not work in 100% humidity.

nice try.
Stay away from this product. All it is a glorified mini humidifier.
I disagree.
its a swamp cooler
It's been keeping me nice and cool at my desk this summer. No complaints other than the price. I know there are $30-$40 versions but they have shit reviews and either arrive broken, arrive late (coming direct from China after 6 weeks), or break very quickly.
Drive Fast i just ordered one too. You still like it? Does it make noise?
It does make noise, no doubt about that. But it has a speed control for the fan without about 20 different levels (the cheap crap ones have 3 levels) and you can choose the speed (noise) level you like. Up to 5 it's really quiet. I usually have it set about 7. When it's crazy hot you'd accept that noise for the cooling you're getting. I haven't tried it in bedroom I just use it at my home-office desk. A light sleeper would have trouble if the level was above 5. Personally I could sleep through it at max level :-)
Well if you feel like spending $250 on a mini air cooler instead of getting an actual air conditioner for the same price this seems like a good option
Shut the fuck up smartass. ACs need more space, more power and someone to connect it to the outdoor fan. Or if you can't do these yourself just buy a smaller, more inefficient device like this
+Nonou My point is that considering it's smaller, less efficient at cooling air and clearly made of cheaper materials it should also cost less however that isn't the case making it fairly pointless. I don't think anyone in their right mind would spend that for a glorified desk fan unless they work in a sauna, which would actually be too humid for this to work anyway. Probably why it isn't on Amazon anymore.
Basically its useless and not fit for purpose when you really need it.
+adecree I see your point. But for some people like me its perfect. Since my room is small I don't have the space for a huge ass air conditioner neither do I have the ability to have an air conditioner installed in my room. Since this thing is small enough to have it on my desk I see good reasons in buying it. also the place I work at is hot as hell, so it makes it easy to bring this with me. btw its $180 on their main website evapolar. (still I agree it should cost less)
A Window AC needs only a window and an outlet to plug it into and costs less than half as much as this piece of junk. It require no special installation. The only types of AC's that require external components and professional installation are Central AC and split duct units. Windows AC's can be installed by anyone over the age of 10 and thats only because anyone younger probably couldn't lift them.

Its $180... not over $200. Maybe you priced it with expensive shipping?
Especially since it's just an evaporative cooler. All you need is a fan, cool water, some cheap plastic tubing and a cheap air filter and you have the same thing only bigger. Doesn't work in humid climates though.
It's so hot outside that I almost called my ex girlfriend to be under something shady
damn
I ordered one of these and took it apart, it's literally a fan that sprays water into the air in small amounts. It doesn't work at all. Please don't buy this product. Check out the reviews on Amazon. please don't waste your money.
rp94cobra lol I literally got a mini handheld fan that squirts water out the front if u set it to and does the trick.
G A sounds like someone got paid for his opinion. There is no way this thing can be colder than regular air conditioner. (I bought it, didn’t work anywhere as Unbox Therapy claimed, thus I returned it)
Hi! We appreciate sharing your experience. However, evaLIGHT is not just a fan that sprays water into the air. There is a cartridge inside the device, which is made of a unique nanomaterial EvaBreeze (provides a strong cooling effect). The cartridge absorbs a large amount of water, the water then spreads evenly on the surface of the cooling pads. When the air blows through the pads, the water evaporates, which makes the air cool down while saturating it with water. There's no heat exhausted as result of the evaporation.
Haha.
liked ur reply
Cheap material
Always leaking
Cable is very low quality
Very High priced
*RUclips Algorithm* has brought us together, its 2AM and damn hot
Welcome to the Summer of 2019
what's the music playing in the background. idc about no air conditioning lol
Right, that's all I care about too. lol
Ikr, it sounds so good
I'm glad I didn't have to scroll down too far to find this. I also need to know the name.
There most be someone who knows what this is called. It somethig in spanish, companero... Pls people, its so good
Um, clicked the link in the description below...I did not see this anywhere on amazon.com. Hmm...Guess I'll have to use the window unit again. :( Sadface.
It's $179-$320 anyways
+Valhallen Actually less. You can make a personal AC with a 2-5 dollar 6 inch personal fan and a block of ice in front of it. Works wonders for the price of 10 dollars at most.
that would be hella secist
😂

No thanks. Living in a very humid environment. All I need for my loft is a 2 tons heavy duty air conditioner. PERIOD. Waste of time
Awesome, another swamp cooler that won't do shit in humid climates. More junk.
A gadget that doesn't work in the situation where it's needed the most. Brilliant indeed!
open it please please please unscrew it and show us what's inside
No, that's a job for Jerry Rig Everything !
Devansh Jani fidget spinners
wtf are you talking about?
just a fan and funky radiator, it's an evaporative cooler they've been around for a while
It just has pleated filter/wick material filling the inside, like an air filter, immersed in a tray of water. Air is blown through the pleats from end to end, rather than through the material like a filter. Probably best to use cheap distilled water to avoid mineral buildup and a need to soak in vinegar periodically. But will need to be cleaned of dust/lint periodically anyway. A drop of soap (for initial wetting) and something antibacterial/antifungal in the water wouldn't hurt also.
1:52 Jack throws a silica gel packet back. . . .
Might be lew though
+Zee Man jack is real
I tell u man Jack is real ;P Zee Man
"I do not know!" what a stupid review
Can you put on a thermometer and see the temperature before and after?, that simple
Jacks favorite snack..SILICA GEL! This is exactly why I watch Unbox Therapy.
That’s sad dude
puts link to buy in description and just goes to amazon search, item no where to be found. Nice
Get a swamp cooler. Better than this crap.
Or buy a fan
devinsux "Sir I need you to eat this cabbage, then blow into my face"
I bought one of these as a KickStarter, as people don't like the A/C on in the office. I know it's only evaporative cooling, but it's very effective. I get 6-7c temperature cooling on my desk, and as the air is moist it's refreshing too. My favorite purchase this year :)
For $329, It should have some Noctua Fan, and it make sure it cools a normal size bedroom.
I clicked on both links, and couldn't find the Evapolar, im very interested in buying one, please help me Lou.
Don't buy this, literally get a 10$ box fan and put wet carboard over the front and it'll work the same way.
It is expensive as heck and doesn't really work. the heat has to go somewhere so it is still in the room. Energy doesn't just disappear.
Sunny Wu It goes into the evaporating water, and is carried away by it.
***** That will work for a little while, and only where it is dry as heck. If the air around is humid, the water won't evaporate as fast therefore, won't cool much. Even if the air is dry, since the water is evaporating into the surrounding room, sooner or later it will be humid enough that it won't work anymore because it is releasing all of that water vapor back into the room it is pulling air from.
You can read about it here:
proper.systems/evapolar-desk-air-conditioner-do-not-be-misled/
In other words, considering I saw it was close to $200. Seems a bit steep.
He is getting paid to advertise
wtf.... I just can't believe that it's run off a USB! It just take an extremely low amount of electricity!
In theory instead of fixing the AC in your car for 200-2,500 dollars just buy this! Right?? Especially if it's a smaller car like a 2 door Honda Civic!!!
YES AND COOL THE INSIDE OF YOUR CAR FROM 110f TO 100f
No - the condensation will fog your windows...
usually, a car's a/c is MUCH stronger than your average window unit. why? because it not only needs to cool the hot interior, it also needs to MAINTAIN the temp. working against the sun, while its heating up your dash, and all the metal in the vehicle, AND the warmer temp of the air. PLUS your body temp and whatnot. even as a personal cooling device, it might be better to just buy a bag of ice and place it behind a fan.
Fixing up my 2Door civic and don't want to lose power with an A/C lol. Spent $3,000 on my JDM Motor. Plus more motor accessories. In all , I do believe with tinted windows and an Epson Fanless fan on high setting with cool down your car within 5-10minutes. Sure your gonna wait but that's healthy for a motor. People think they can abuse there car, and haul ass straight after a cold start. With the $300 Fanless fan in the back, and this on my passenger floor (hopefully it fits) for my wife and it will work out fine!
wut
Was about to buy this then I remembered I live in the UK.
Not hot enough in the UK to warrant AC?
blud it's been crazy hot last few days
The UK gets hot and rainy at the same time. Super humid.
love.
+GainerSoCalLA No we are in the outer artic.
I have my own very cheap airconditioner
I USE A BOTTLE SPRAY AND NOT HOT NOR COLD WATER
I JUST SPRAY IT ALL OVER ME AND IM OKAY
lol

What is this madness? Where does the heat go?
ikr
maybe it's pumping out the water like... evaporate? I don't know that word is but it's like your room freshener can, pump out water on very small size
Has to go in the water, but with a reservoir that small it seems like it would get saturated and reach room temperature in a few minutes. How often do you need to toss warm water away and get cold water? Seems like it would get old fast.
It's pretty much a glorified sponge and a fan. The fan drives air through the sponge, the water in the sponge cools the air as it evaporates. It actually increases humidity in the room, so it's far from and end-all be-all solution, and definitely not to replace an AC, unless you live in desert climate. It's actually potentially very bad for electronics too.
I think it cooles the air with water evaporation
It's swap cooler not ac
Swamp coolers are a form of AC.
It's sort of an AC but without the option to dehumidify.
It conditions the air; therefore, it is an air conditioner
Lassi Kinnunen Evaporative coolers are best used in the appropriate environment, where they are more efficient than other forms of AC, and where the humidity might even be beneficial.
Desert, it's best for the desert.
The best thing about this video was the ability to stop watching it.
Lets assume you already have air conditioning and want to add Evapolar to your desk for just little bit more cooling - yes thats possible, but remember - evaporators needs hot, dry air to work, so if your environment is humid - it will be as effective as regular fan.
Even when operating in perfect conditions, this evaporative cooler is too small to make major change in air temperature, and remember that any heat it absorbs is ultimately released back in to the same space.
If you take air from outside, then cool it down it remains cool inside, but Evapolar sits in the room so it becomes a humidifier, the longer it works, the more humid the air in the room becomes and the more humid air becomes - less cooling effect you get.
What do I use if I want my office space to be colder then? The building where I work is mostly glass and it’s hard for it to keep cool and I’m in NC so it’s pretty humid
well um thats not an air conditioner, its an evaporative cooler which products lots of humidity, i wouldnt be using that around my electronics or in smaller rooms.
these things have been around since 15 years atleast
they were much bigger but still nothing new
These things have been around since before air conditioning... it is just a swamp cooler
no i meant Electric and you put cold water inside
Actually, putting cold water in will just be a waste as it will reach room temperature rather quickly. It cools because the water must acquire heat (from the air being blown through it) to evaporate. It's the same way we cool down from sweating. Our perspiration needs to take heat from our skin to evaporate. Humidity also plays a roll. The lower the humidity, the easier the water is able to make the transformation to water vapor. When the air around you is not moving, the higher the humidity gets stuck right next to your skin (from water that just made the transition). This high-humidity air is trapped in a "boundary layer" around us. That is why a small breeze helps cool us as it blows that high-humidity air away from your body, allowing more water to evaporate off of you. You will get very little relief if you are in a high-humidity environment from sweating because there is now low-humidity available to replace the high-humidity air surrounding your skin. The swamp cooler will be less efficient as well, for a slightly different reason, of course.
I have had One of these ( not this particular One but a much bigger One that works with the same priciple ) and yes , it does cool the air a tiny bit BUT the thing is .. it lets out air with a very high humidity ( cold Water in the air therefor the cooling effect ) and after like 30 min My room felt like a rainforest. Everything was damp and i mean everything ! I dont recommend using it like an Airconditioning . Using it as a fan or to up the humidity , sure but not as your regular AC.
I have the same thing. Reservoir on the bottom, water pump pumps water and it drips onto paper filter through which air goes. It all cools down the room, but just slightly bit. The only problem is as you mentioned high humidity. Air becomes so humid that you can't breathe normally. IMO, all these devices suck. A fridge or a freezer and a fan blowing air through it would work much better.
What if you combind this with a De Humidifyer?
@@patricknintemann924 Then you'd be wasting double the electricity. One would cool down, while the other would heat up.
@@runeviking5770 But an De Humidifyer isn't a heater? i am no expert in this. That's why i am asking. And i watched this because i am looking for a cheaper alternative for a real AC.
@@patricknintemann924 Not sure about non-electric dehumidifiers, but electric ones work by reheating air and therefore getting rid of humidity - trapping water inside a tank.
The entire system isn't worth it, and if you're a DIY guy, you can find cheap ACs all over the internet and install them.
The rule goes: Warm air has a very small amount of water/moisture in it, while colder air has plenty of water/moisture. Imagine your lungs being a paper filter through which air goes. A dry paper filter would work flawlessly, while wet one wouldn't work at all.
AC is the way to go, or you can use a normal fan and every so often get yourself wet and you'll be cooled down.
You can see Jack at 4:17
Just a few seconds away from the magic number
I always thought he was fake...
I TRUSTED YOU
i feel so tricked...
It's only an air cooler. Not even an air conditioner. In my experience, an absolute waste of time! The only time it will cool you down is in winter.
Once you hit 6 mill can do a reveal of Jack?
Jack is his camera lol
+Electric Barbarian jack is real😑
+Electric Barbarian Jack is real, there is no way the camera moves itself.
+Scott Strain pretty sure he has multiple cameras that he switches off with
Ammon Phipps No I mean the camera physically moves, like someone moves it left or right/up and down.
This would have been helpful when we were sailing. Literally hoped for one of these to exist.
It's not "ANYWHERE", you still have to plug in the god damn thing.
That thing is a very old design, and according to user reveal, that thing sucks from head to toe, don't buy it, ever!!! beside that thing cost like $20 to make.
Instructions unclear, died of poisoning by silicon gel.
I liek drinking cesium
Shall I buy this, it seems legit.
no
+Arthur Vanhaverbeke why???
If you can afford it...
The tech makes no sense whatsoever, don't buy this unless you're fine switching out the water every few minutes.
+Musab Rahim becuz it's $300
This is called Nithyananda technology 😂. You can deposit ur $50 billion to em and in next life, they'll give u $10 billion.
Small ACs won't work cos of law of increasing entropy. To generate cooling, u need to generate a lot more heat energy than u need to for generating direct heat. And this is where u need part like refriedgrrant, coolant , compressor, condenser in addition to blower etc whilst heater simply has heating element and blower.
Go touch back of fridge.
This is also why we have heating microwave but it's impossible to have cooling microwave until we figure a way ro enter a parallel universe which has decreasing entropy as law.
What is the name of the second song that plays at 2:00?
I really don't get why so many RUclipsrs don't credit the music they use. It's frustrating for the viewers to find out and unfair to the creator of whatever music is being licensed.
I certainly agree. I feel the same. There's music in so many videos on RUclips that's uncredited. Thankfully, Buzzfeed credits the music. I was introduced to Birocratic because of a Buzzfeed video I saw and have been listening to him since.
do you know the first?
Sadly no, I have no idea. :(
+Shah Nawaz lol honestly a big pet peeve of mine too, theres plenty of good music I hear that people don't give the names of
Don't worry, you'll NEVER be hot
I just want someone to invent a walking air conditioner. Kinda like a force field around a person. And you can have it on wherever you go. That would be epic on extremely hot summer days. If they invent that, I would be the first person in line.
Chimmy89 nope there would be battles over it lol. i work outside for a living and it can really be unpleasant in the middle of summer on a 12 hour shift, what you mentioned would be amazing lol
Chimmy89 It exists. It's called ur skin. Love it.
get a cooling vest they work great. or the military has a personal cooling device but good luck getting one
Oh man. So the big ass swamp cooler I have on the garage is considered amazing tech too? Who knew.
HAhaha lol
I'm early let me make a joke
Everyone Saying Their first
LOL! 😂
now let me tell a joke.
Your grammar
+Pulkit Tripathi oh yeah that joke!
That's very funny as well
xD
+Pulkit Tripathi thank you
Dude you can buy a full fledged AC for this price.
no you can't Not even close.
@@Digikidthevoiceofreason if you know where to look .. yes you can
xtheslump yard sales don’t count
@@Digikidthevoiceofreason 1HP air-conditioner, wall type is about $250 on my place, lol
@@Digikidthevoiceofreason For $159.99 I can buy a 5000 BTU LG Window AC unit from my local Home Depot brand new. For $219.99 I can buy a 6000 BTU LG Window AC unit. Both are cheaper than $329 so in fact you can buy a window air conditioner for less money than this stupid little swamp cooler.
Dude its circulating your air conditioning air therefore it's going to be cold air 🤦♂️
Been getting a ton of ads for this the last few weeks. Thought I would check it out. Surprised it's a couple of years old already.
