g-sync on 360hz adds extremely minimal input lag. it’s actually ideal to run g-sync on + nvidia reflex + 357fps frame cap for the smoothest experience, especially with how inconsistent valorant fps is.
Correct.Time for battlenonsense to make a come back. Baffles me, that even after all those years and videos/articles "tech influencers" still don't know what they are talking about regarding input lag and g-sync in general. Brandon even mentioned that he didn't measure the input lag and still he's claiming higher input lag with g-sync.
@@DerStoke Exactly. Only fps locks made with riva tuner or gpu control panels add input lag, but since this monitor has 360 hz you probably don't need to lock your fps at all.
I searched the comments for someone to set them straight! And here you are! I agree 100% I actually notice less input lag with G-Sync enabled......and my pc is optimized to have the lowest input lag, so the littelest increase in delay, i will 99.9% of the timee pick up on immediately.

@@BTaesthetics None so far, and i've owned it for 7 months with an average of 6 hours a day usage. Just make sure to use the built in screen care options every so often and to not leave it on standby for hours at a time.

I love these monitors because it really pushes the GPU market to consistently hit these marks! I will probably pick up one of these after my next GPU upgrade!
5:03 the G-sync module does not cause almost two times the input lag. The G-sync module slightly reduces input lag over any adaptive sync. It also stops screen tearing at much lower frame rates over adaptive sync. Having the dedicated g-sync module is the best technology available. However it's more expensive than g-sync compatible.
Facts!! Talk about being confused when i first enabled it with this monitor and noticed LESS input delay then when its disabled........people love to drink the Kool-Aid
The g-sync module actually has a use. If you run monitors off their optimal refresh rate (360 hz) in this case, you'll see a lot less optimized input lag for the other refresh rates like 144 and 240 - it's why you should almost never run a monitor on a lower refresh rate setting. The G-sync module actually lowers that input lag across the board so you can run other refresh rates. Which is really good for a 360hz monitor because you're not gonna be able to run every game with that fps.
Yeah i disagree with what he said, the gsync module is good to have. I measured the render latency with gsync/reflex on+boost with 360hz and its like less than 5ms so I don't think anyone can actually tell the latency difference in real world use. Playing single player games at 60hz, 120hz and 240hz also felt really good with gsync.
We’ve seen some major swing in tech performance the last few years in CPUs and GPUs …. Now we’re seeing a major evolution of monitors with high refresh 1440p and even some 4K monitors as well 🥳🤯 which have been left stagnant for some time as a result of the panel tech and associated costs. It would be great to see more consumer friendly pricing thou as these could come down at least 10-15% in RRP/MSRP and increase turn over still making bank for manufacturers 🥳💰💰💵💵
You should really give g sync a try man. Input lag is definitely higher on monitors without a NATIVE gsync module but you have a native one here. Set ultra low latency, g sync on and v sync on in control panel and it will automatically set your framerate in any game to 327. The clarity you get with no tearing at that high of a framerate is buttery smooth for games like overwatch where movement is so important to follow. I can pump 600 fps no problem on my system and still choose to use 327 g sync which is clearer and jitter free. Lots of good content on g sync by thewhale, fr33thy and the OG, battlenonsense.
Yes blurbusters has shown for some time that the combo of Gsync on, Vsync on (in Nvidia control panel, off in game) and Nvidia reflex on (caps to the 327 for a 360hz monitor) achieves the lowest input lag. Gsync on and a cap of 357 with Nvidia reflex is also very close, I tested with the nvidia reflex analyzer and you maybe get 1ms extra overall latency.
Is this monitor pretty much the same as the ROG PG279QM but higher hz? Or is there other differences? I have the pg279qm and was wondering what you recommend for the overdrive setting. Normal or esports?
Why are you spreading misinformation? Gsync/freesync add like 1ms of lag, they certainly don't double it. And it is not just about removing screen tearing, they have other benefits so you should ideally use it if you can

Perhaps screen tear at 360hz isn't noticeable (I can't say for sure, have never seen a 360hz panel), but at 240hz it's still kinda noticeable, it's very noticeable at 120hz, and is obviously unusable at anything around 60 or below. You need to tune your RAM and CPU and clean up that windows installation my man… that’s horrid.
Same a majority of the time I’m about the same 400-600 but I was showing a high stress situation in this case. Should have explained that more. Thanks for watching!
DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR if you wish to utilize the 25 inch mode. This mode does not work with a lot of games since the monitor does not recognize a 1080p or 1332p source from a great deal of games despite setting the resolution to those in game, which in turn does not activate the 25 inch mode even with it turned on. Its blatant false advertisement for a feature that does not work majority of the time
Himeno best girl.

There will always be something beter on the horizon. Don’t worry to much. Just enjoy the shit out of the one you’ll buy.

the PG27AQDM will be better, oled 240hz is better imo

Hello, how is your experience with AQDM Oled so far? What about burn in issue? Thank you
for that price i would rather go with oled
What is the point? You can't enable 360hz! There is no game that will give you 360hz! It's a flex for nothing
First one
You got beef with my ears?
