I like their stuff, but they spend more time on brand image and catering to hipsters, and less time on their actual products. It's like they are trying to be the Apple or Harley of the knife world, but without the large marketshare. I have a Carter XL and I love it, but it's not a $180 knife. It's an $80 knife that you can get from Kizer or another Chinese brand, like whoever makes it for them. $180 for G10, bronze washers and VG10 steel? Really? I bought one to review, and its a nice knife, but it's not worth paying an extra $100 on its true value, just to have some brand that nobody has ever heard of...
@@UrbanEDCSupply I like the knives, I just think that in that price point, we shouldn't be seeing VG10 and bronze washers. Those materials are more appropriate on a $65 knife, not a $170-$200 knife... But someone has to pay for all that fancy marketing and brand image, I guess... :-)
Very elegant solution for that bottle opener!
agreed! James Brand know what they’re doing! :)

hey, thanks for taking the time to write some feedback! :) We've been really into what they've been making lately, but to each their own.
