I'm looking forward to seeing this! This has intrigued me and horrified me since it happened in 2014.
As a little side note, I was walking my dog in the early morning hours when I walked by a barn that always had a radio playing when I heard this news story. It sent a shiver down my spine as I heard the broadcast and looked up into the sky at the stars, imagining what had happened to that plane.
Very profound and haunting memories.

What sets Green Dot apart from other aviation channels imo
1. Usually does not explicitly state the outcome of the flight at the start (huge for building suspense!)
2. Does not overprovide basic information on how flying works (my main problem with Mentour)
3. Addition of flight sim visual aid helps add clarity to events

I started watching your content few weeks back, the moment i saw the first video i was hooked to your way of narration, the details and the recreations of the scenes, amazing content!
I;have binged quite a lot of your content and got to know about many infamous aviation incidents, but the happeningof MH370 is one for which i was shocked upon not finding it among your other videos,...now its going to change... one of the greatest mysteries of modern aviation (and perhaps, all of modern transportation) on one of the best aviation documentary channels on yt, this is going to be a thrill to watch!
I recently found your channel, I didn't know I would be so invested in planes, I just returned on holidays, noticed 1 of the 4 total flights I went on had quite a rough landing, tho it wasn't bad, so after searching about plane landings I find your channel and ive watched hours and hours
I'm from Perth and one of my brothers friends was on that Qantas flight having the stalling issues and I saw your video on that flight. Keep up the great work dude
I cannot wait for this, your research into these events is remarkable, I still look back on some of your videos with pride, the Helderberg (SAA295) is a personal favourite of mine since I can look back on my scenario that I came up with for it, from the small fire that the crew tackled before making that turn at Malaysia to the main big fire over the Indian Ocean, also morbid fact here about that crash, the SAA295 aircraft wreckage is the deepest known aircraft wreck on the planet at some 14,000 feet below the surface, some 1500 feet LOWER than the Titanic which is only at 12,500 feet....
This was similar to the SAA295 video in that I developed a scenario using various reports and expert sources. Hope you find the result interesting ✈
@@GreenDotAviation Yeah I did find it interesting, sometimes the best way is to put out multiple scenarios and put yourself into the situation and see which one feels right, for MH370, that in itself is the biggest riddle of them all, somewhere out there in the Indian Ocean is the key to it all, once that key is found everything will snap into place, we are at the moment missing that one key bit of evidence, eventually that will be found, but how long that will take, no idea....
SA295 has to be the most chilling accident ever. The fact that there's no definitive cause despite the wreckage being found is crazy.

I saw the netflix documentary a while ago and i have to say having seen your documentary it was just flawlessly made. Much easier to follow, narrated extremely well, 10/10 pacing. When this plane disappeared and the weeks went on. You slowly learn the more you looked into it. That the ocean is a big place.

One thing that always puzzled me: there were 227 passengers on this plane, and at least a percentage would have been watching the flight track on the entertainment systems. Are you telling me that not a single one noticed at some point over the hours that they were massively off course? Somebody must have, and must have asked why. In which case, when receiving no convincing answer, nobody turned their phone on to try to verify / send a message etc?

Have to wait to see what GreenDot concludes, but for me, that's good evidence that none of the passengers survived the early part of the flight, and the most obvious explanation is that the pilot depressurized the plane.
