Summertime, and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy's rich and your ma is good-lookin'
So hush, little baby, don't you cry
One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singing
And you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky
But till that morning, there ain't nothin' can harm you
With daddy and mammy standin' by
I did not think it was possible for anyone to singing this as beautifully as Ella Fitzgerald. Truly amazed.❤❤❤❤👍👍🙌🙌🙌🙌
Thank you so very much for this arrangement. I have a colleague of mine, a very talented jazzsinger, who agreed to sing this very arrangement with another colleague (bass) and me (ukulele) before an audience of students at our school. It was unforgettable. Thank you.
Thank you Cynthia for the music and your beautiful voice!💌
Gorgeous arrangement and impeccable performance: good voice, clean and tasty uke strumming and correct bass lines.
Big kudos to you two. Thanks for Sharing
I LOVE THIS SONG. Omg thank you so much for this. Im definitely gonna learn this.
Cynthia, I don’t know what to say... you play and sing the song just how I would love to play and sing it (if I could 🙂). You are the one that made we want to learn to play the ukelele. I’m still learning.. started about one year ago. I play alto sax for a long time already but now I have a new love... the Uke 👍🏻😄 Thank you for all your lessons and the way you teach .. greetings from The Netherlands 👋🏻
So beautiful! Thank you very much! I love this song, and You have a so beautiful voice 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤

You’ve inspired me. You sound great. I’m gonna give this one a try.
Beautiful Cynthia . My youngest son was inspired and attempted to do his own cover from seeing this video 👍
Great playing and voice - very rich and textured. Your selection of rerptoire is superb. And if I may be so bold as to make a request - would love to hear a Uke version of To Sir With Love. Your vocal style would be good for it I think.
Omg I’m so determine to learn this beautiful jazz piece…Thank you Cynthia
Absolutely gorgeous!! ❤
You sing beautifully! Thank you for taking the time to share.

Thank you so much Cynthia for sharing your videos and spreading the ukulele love. I've learned so much by watching you! I don't know if you accept requests, but I would love it so much if you could teach us to play Where did our love go by the Supremes, another classic ;) thank you so much anyway
Wow you nailed that song and I've only just been listening to Ella for this past month and this song is on my mind.
素晴らしいです。💖 I used to sing on the guitar, but after seeing you, I decided to sing on the ukulele. very impressive. Thank you.
Added this to my play list a while back, but I know I'll be playing your arrangement from now on. Love it Cynthia, have a great tour.

very nice and soft to ears,,lovely song too,,,
Thanks much, love it.
Beautiful ❤
Wonderful Cynthia! As always! Can't wait to learn the song..
By FAR ny favorite version as I search the web for ukulele versions of this...this one tops all! One thing I noticed...when you go into the run that starts with Dm, in the little chord chart you have at the right side of the screen, the Ebdim7 chord and the B7b9 chord show the same finger positions, throwing me off a little bit but even if I'm missing the proper finger position for one of those chords, it still sounds good.Which one of those is the correct chord?
the best!!!! cant wait to try this out!! thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
thanks for the video
Wondefull.. you are my favorite..

You can teaching us “Where Did You Sleep Last Night'”, Leadbelly, or “Sittin on Top of the World”?
Howlin’ Wolf version please.
Thank you so much.
beautiful!!! 😍
I'm lovin' the flower
Cynthia can you do a Kacey Musgraves song? Slow Burn or Oh what a world would be beautiful!
Me encanta!!!!! ❤
Love it♥️
Thank you so much for this! 😍
You. Rock.
Outstanding...
what is the difference between a Ebdim7 and a b7b9?
I was wondering the same thing?
Great song and nice arrangement, and a lovely rendition I could listen to all day... but singing it's another matter, way too low for my voice in this key (or too high if I go up an octave.) For me it's much better in Dm, with all the chords just raised a fourth except the final Am9 becomes Dsus2.
Oh my.

Thanks for tutorials
感激して、毎日聴いています、
🖤
Do you do more intermediate songs?
WOW 🥰🥰🥰
Admiring you...💕💕💕..
Can you sing the song one day at a time sweet Jesus..? Please.. thank you 🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊
Bonjour.
Quelle est la différence entre ebdim7 et B7b9??
Thank you👍
I also did not understand 🥲. I was looking for an answer in the comments
Found the answer:
“The long answer would require extensive knowledge of music theory and functional harmony.
The short answer is, the bass player should play a different note. It doesnt matter for a high register instrument like the ukulele but if you were playing with someone else that had a mid or low instrument, they would have to structure their chord so that root is the lowest note. Or just play the root.
The root is the note that the chord is named after.”
Is there anyway u could do a tutorial on
“Mary did u know “
Dylan Laine has a tutorial for Mary Did You Know :)
Anyone like to see her playing “ September “ by Earth, Wind & Fire. That will be awesome to play Funk song on ukulele
wow, so….neat
Which une are she playing?
May I ask name of this Ukulele.
Thank you,
The name is Omaha , Ive. seen them around.
It's at the end of the video: Ohana brand and her signature model is CK- 14CL
🇧🇷💖👏👏👏👏🤗💖🇧🇷
I am confused about the two chords that look the same but with different names...
same here, let us know if find out about this.
She explained it on the live tutorial , check her Patreon :)
Yeah, that chord shape has a zillion different names depending on the context. Just play the fingering shown and don't worry about the name.
