It's all about team structure. Now finally this team looks like one with offensive and defensive depth.There are so many moving parts it's hard to keep up...how will Rookies Robertson, Liligren,Barabanov, Lehtonen, Sandin fit?, The vets Simmonds, Bogosian, Thornton? New guys Vesey, Anderson. Finally guys are going to have to "earn" their spots and we'll just have to see how this all pans out.
yes, a cornucopia of depth..... i opine that KHL free agent acquisitions Lehtonen and Barabanov would have inside tracks on Leafs jobs over the developing draftees, but it will create competition and the ability to fill in, especially if there's a compacted sched. Also, there's Boyd, Engvall, Korshkov, "prove it" little guys Malgin and Petan, and even Agostino with plenty NHL experience at forward. Rosen, the well-thought-of- Hollowell and dare i say it, Marincin on D.
