Who can’t love Bruce Boudreau. First off the name is top tier, absolutely legendary. Then just look at the guy, friendly Canadian you see sitting in Tim Hortons every Saturday. Whatta legend

The big 5 are going to laugh at Berube! They have no interest in playing the way he wants them to play! And they hold ALL the cards. Its obvious to anyone that has watched the Leafs the last 7 years, they have ZERO interest in winning anything and with all the no move contracts there's nothing anyone can do about it.

I don't know why people are so bang on on Nylander as a Centre. Marner is better defensively and earned more than Nylander throughout his career. If anyone should be pressured to play as center it should be him. I honestly think he could be a very good 2C, dropping Tavares to 3C.
Marner disappears in the playoffs, that's not worth shit to anyone.
@@grahamshere Sure, but never has been tested in the playoffs or in any capacity as a center. People who love him always say he's top 3 in the league defensively, so why not try him at center and see how it goes? If it doesn't work, then it's back to how things were, but I think it has a chance of working xD
I'd love to see them try that and hopefully his hand eye coordination can win more than 50% on draws cause I don't think he has the strength to beat most the top end centers in the game. I'd test and see for sure but even if I doesn't work you at least tried everything you can think of instead the same ol' same ol'

Rosehill is dead wrong. Their goaltending was the problem, yet again. As Ullmark said in an interview after his trade to Ottawa, he couldn't understand why Keefe played Samsonov ahead of Woll as Ullmark viewed Woll as the better goalie. Samsonov was very good in game 2, but simply not good enough in games 1, 3, 4 (got pulled) & game 7 when Woll wrenched his back twisting in game 6 with 1 second left trying to preserve his shut-out. IMO had Woll started game 7, Toronto wins.
Samsonov lacked the critical between-the-ears stuff needed to perform under the most intense pressure. Woll appears to have it, but can he stay healthy? Toronto has been goalied in every series except vs Tampa in 2023 when Samsonov stepped up for 6 games & outplayed Vasilevskiy. Guys like Andersen & Campbell wilted in win-or-go-home pressure game 7's. I am hoping Woll & Stolarz can stay healthy & if so, they'll be the best tandem in years. Woll is 3-1 in 4 playoff starts with a 1.36 gaa & a .953 save % ALL in back to the wall games.

Goaltending was the problem? They averaged 1.7 goals in 7 games and had 4% pp. the leafs are trash, prime carey price wouslnt save them. 1.7 goals means leafs can’t score 2 goals, so they need a goalie to win them every game 1-0. That’s not a good team, your a clown if you blame the goalie
@@pahul79 Clown? Unlike you, I've gone back & looked at the numbers. They support my position not yours. Guys like Holtby, Rask, Price, Vasilevskiy (2022) & Swayman rose to the pressure in must win games, while Andersen, Campbell & Samsonov (except vs Tampa in 2023) did not, so GFY.
@@bigdave8437 lol so all the leafs goalies don’t rise to the occasion ? Freddy Andersen made 3rd round with Carolina, Sammy stole us a series against tampa. It’s not the goalies fault, it’s the leafs team. 1 round win in 5 years. They lose with every goalie lol. What about Tavares 2 points in 7 games and marner 3 points in 7 games. Talk about rising to the occasion
It’s going to be fabulous to not have to look at Keefes mug this season.
