just bought a Dyson (my parents did,their money their home)yesterday after visiting stores for 2days before purchasing. I'd seen it used by all these instagram RUclips influencers etc and seeing the prices initially i thought it's a high end product very expensive and i could never ask them to buy it/afford even if it's one time investment etc. but finally somehow price seemed feasible enough to buy at the moment and I'm very impressed . yet to use it at home but I'm sure it'll work well

Mine had no light come on when I plugged it in. I plugged mine in and out a couple of times, pulled the trigger, plugged it back in and the Blue light started flashing to indicate it was charging.

In the store where I bought V8, the salesperson told me not to insert any of the three parts directly into the main engine part and he said that I should always keep the long metal pipe with the engine during use and insert these different parts only into the long metal pipe. I’m surprised to see you use the other parts inserted directly into the engine.
Sorry for any confusion here but you can use your machine with or without the wand in place. Attaching the accessories directly to the main body of your machine for handheld use makes it easier to clean counter tops, furniture, stairs, mattresses and inside the car!
There needs to be more control for suction on these. If you have a low profile rug the suction is just too strong even on the low setting. As a result some of my rugs are damaged.

Hello, there is a problem with the holding of the machine. Mine and my wife's thumb have fraction to the holding area so very bad pain occur on the top of the thumb after 10 min of vacuuming. It could be solved by not being in need of pressing and holding the power button at all times

Hi, The sounds which comes from Dyson vacuum is normal ? We bought V10 cyclone, and I am using it about 10 month, and 1 month ago it has problems (turning off while i used) so the technical services fixed the trigger and changed the filter but after that our vacuum has this sounds like in video, before it was different. Is it normal ? Or maybe someone else has this problem? I don’t expect the magic from Dyson Vacuum, but for this price i thought that it shouldn't be breaking so often and in that short time.

My friend said this is great for people with pets and I tried to vacuum my cat but it scared the sh*t out of her! I do not recommend using this on animals. My cat won't even look at me anymore.

The battery autonomy of this Dyson is a joke. Impossible to clean a 1 bedroom small appartment with one charge. Dyson should state that this model is not good for house chores. It is only good for occasional use. Very disappointed to have paid so much.
I cleaned my three bedroom apartment (1800 sq ft) without any battery problems. If you have are having issues then your unit might be faulty. Check with Dyson
@@xiomuki9228 To me the max mode is what makes Dyson stand out compared to most other vaccums. In normal mode, nothing special about it and not worth paying so much... If this model could be used while with a power cord as well, I would not complain. Short battery autonomy is definitely the down side of this one. Sorry to offend the Dyson worshippers, but this product could be better.
Don't buy this hoover to hoover your house. you will be frustrated, very frustrated. 1) the 'wall holster' only holds 3 tools it comes with 6! so the other three have to lay around or Dyson support recommend “putting them in a draw…” but why make half a wall holder in the first place? 2) it takes 2 days to hoover your house, the charge lasts for less than 10 minutes!!! good luck speed cleaning your house in that time - you can have a 5 hour rest though whilst you wait for it to recharge. 3) the 'exhaust; blows air out near the handle... so often if used with the short fitting the exhaust blows all the dust away before you get to it!!! 4) Dyson support said "get a toothbrush and a tooth pick" to clean the various filters - yes really - otherwise it doesn't pick anything up. so get a good toothbrush as you'll need to clean the hoover inside and out at LEAST every month... washing the filter… and drying it, more time to relax and think about hoovering tomorrow. 5) to extend charging - get another battery - Dyson support advise to "remove the 3 screws holding the battery in place... and get another battery" - so you get double the hoovering time, double the charge time too (10 hours) I have done this and now the battery falls out every time I use it... I guess it's another 'feature' feels a bit unsafe though having a heavy battery falling out every time you pick it up... not sure about Health and Safety - but it was recommended by Dyson... So buy this for hoovering crumbs off the table and little things - not a whole house hoover - it is underperforming, under powered and over priced. A very expensive disappointment.
I bought mine yesterday. I fully charged it last night. Today I was able to vacuum my kitchen and hallway before the charge was completely gone. I'm going to charge it again and see if I can get more done on the low setting. To be honest, I am so very disappointed in this product. It vacuums very well, but why pay so much when you need two days to vaccum your home. I will likely return this product tomorrow.

I positively dislike this product. Battery failed, I got treated like I was a criminal when I complained, battery got replaced(or whatever it was they did), and 30 uses later it starts losing power again. BS product. Do not buy it.Not worth the hassle.

Yo my house is massive and this thing only lasts 20 minutes. It’s great but the battery life is ass. Perfect for a dorm room. Definitely not feasible for a 300 square foot house.

I have a Dyson v11 outsize
The battery autonomy of this Dyson is a joke. Impossible to clean a 1 bedroom small appartment with one charge. Dyson should state that this model is not good for house chores. It is only good for occasional use. Very disappointed to have paid so much.
I cleaned my three bedroom apartment (1800 sq ft) without any battery problems. If you have are having issues then your unit might be faulty. Check with Dyson

you dont always need to use max mode just go with the normal its enough
@@xiomuki9228 To me the max mode is what makes Dyson stand out compared to most other vaccums. In normal mode, nothing special about it and not worth paying so much... If this model could be used while with a power cord as well, I would not complain. Short battery autonomy is definitely the down side of this one. Sorry to offend the Dyson worshippers, but this product could be better.
Does not help. Needs to show how to remove dust in the filter in the vaccuum and to re assemble

Don't buy this hoover to hoover your house. you will be frustrated, very frustrated.
1) the 'wall holster' only holds 3 tools it comes with 6! so the other three have to lay around or Dyson support recommend “putting them in a draw…” but why make half a wall holder in the first place?
2) it takes 2 days to hoover your house, the charge lasts for less than 10 minutes!!! good luck speed cleaning your house in that time - you can have a 5 hour rest though whilst you wait for it to recharge.
3) the 'exhaust; blows air out near the handle... so often if used with the short fitting the exhaust blows all the dust away before you get to it!!!
4) Dyson support said "get a toothbrush and a tooth pick" to clean the various filters - yes really - otherwise it doesn't pick anything up. so get a good toothbrush as you'll need to clean the hoover inside and out at LEAST every month... washing the filter… and drying it, more time to relax and think about hoovering tomorrow.
5) to extend charging - get another battery - Dyson support advise to "remove the 3 screws holding the battery in place... and get another battery" - so you get double the hoovering time, double the charge time too (10 hours) I have done this and now the battery falls out every time I use it... I guess it's another 'feature' feels a bit unsafe though having a heavy battery falling out every time you pick it up... not sure about Health and Safety - but it was recommended by Dyson...
So buy this for hoovering crumbs off the table and little things - not a whole house hoover - it is underperforming, under powered and over priced.
A very expensive disappointment.
I totally agree, same here, I don't understand the hype. Maybe the wired models are good but this one, a joke.
I bought mine yesterday. I fully charged it last night. Today I was able to vacuum my kitchen and hallway before the charge was completely gone. I'm going to charge it again and see if I can get more done on the low setting. To be honest, I am so very disappointed in this product. It vacuums very well, but why pay so much when you need two days to vaccum your home. I will likely return this product tomorrow.

I positively dislike this product. Battery failed, I got treated like I was a criminal when I complained, battery got replaced(or whatever it was they did), and 30 uses later it starts losing power again. BS product. Do not buy it.Not worth the hassle.

dyson vacum cleaner is waste money to buy, I am not happy at all.
Yo my house is massive and this thing only lasts 20 minutes. It’s great but the battery life is ass. Perfect for a dorm room. Definitely not feasible for a 300 square foot house.
It is made for small areas only

It has a 40 minute battery life. It says it everywhere. For bigger houses you need the bigger models.

The run time is a joke
It only lasts about 7 minutes in full strong suction mode....NOT 25 MINS!!!!!!
That’s exactly what it supposed to do. 40 minutes without motorised head, 25 minutes with motorised head. 7 minutes on max
Dyson are overpriced and poorly built . Mine lasted only 2.5 years at normal use. I find all I know are not fans of 4 figure priced stick
