Geoff's screech-to-the-depths slide is epic! You need to watch their Wicked medley soon. Rachel is amazing in it, and it's one of Geoff's best arrangements.
@@MrsRealistic Haha, I haven't either, but VoicePlay's amazing version makes me want to. Don't tell your husband, but maybe we should see Wicked together?
Mrs.Realistic, thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play. They are the Kings of Disney & they think of everything. Please do a reaction video to Voice Plays cover of Hell Fire from The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. Wait till you hear Geoff go rock high.
VoicePlay is delightful. They always make me smile. Each one of them is so, so talented.....working together, magic happens. Thanks for this fun reaction.
VoicePlay has a good few Medleys in its catalogue but the Little Mermaid is my absolute favourite. I enjoy their Moana Medley too although I have never seen the actual movie. Thank you for the superb reaction. It was quite clear that you enjoyed it immensly.
Their Moana Medley is Fantastic! I'd suggest checking it out, even for those who haven't seen the Movie as their arrangements on those songs are Great! Thx for all the videos! ✌️🤟
Thanks for your reaction! This is one of my favorites and Rachel was the perfect featured guest for this one as she performed as Ariel in the little mermaid show at Disney's Magic Kingdom for 5 years back when they were all attending college in Orlando. (Rachel is very pregnant here so her singing, breath control and costume are commendable). Geoff is the best Ursula ever! Keep an eye out for Voice Play's newest one coming out soon- it is epic!🤩
@@MrsRealistic This is one of my two favorite medleys of all the ones they’ve done (tied with Boy Bands in 5 Minutes). Since you like the movie, you might check out two of the productions that PattyCake Productions did that are related. One of the first videos that they did was Grande Mermaid it’s part of the story but set to Ariana Grande songs. I’m not familiar with her music, but it is a really good video. The one I like even better is the Evolution of Ariel. They’ve written their own song Fish Out of Water to celebrate Ariel, from the cartoon Ariel , the first live action, a couple of the movies, the Broadway production and then the second iteration of the Disney movie. They’ve done a really good job. I’ve only seen the cartoon and the Once Upon a Time character, but it’s really well done and it’s a catchy little tune. I hope you check them out.
Incredible arrangement, production and execution... and they do it themselves. They love bringing humour to their offerings - goofballs the lot of them: and we love them for it!!! ⚘️🕊
It was so much fun watching you laugh til you cried! I had never seen Little Mermaid before I saw Voiceplay's medley. I have seen it now - I like Voiceplay's condensed version much better!!
I remember suggesting this be one you watch with your daughter and you saying she hasn’t seen the movie. Isn’t this so great? It’s probably my favorite of theirs, it just has everything. I was also obsessed with Phantom of the Opera for years and I also love Miss. Saigon! Have you seen Wicked? Their Wicked Medley is amazing and you would love the Moana one as well. Hope to see you again soon! 😅❤ Oh! I almost didn’t find this because you don’t have VoicePlay in your title!
This is utterly delightful. Rachel performed Arial for 3 yrs or so for Disney. In this she was pregnant but her outfit was good at hiding it. Every single person in this was perfect from the purple Ursula, Rachel as Ariel, J None as Sebastian and Jetsam, Eli as Scuttle and Flotsam, and Layne who outdid himself as Chef.
Haha! Yes he is! And I had forgotten... someone had previously mentioned that she was Ariel...I was thinking while watching this how much she fit the part!
Mrs R. Once again great reaction, this always brings a smile to my face. Check out their Wicked Melody ( Rachel shines in that singing Defying Gravity)
Glad you enjoyed this! Geoff's scream-to-basement run is a highlight for me - people who've never heard his higher register are always shocked by just how high he goes in this one! And yes, I'd recommend the Moana Medley - although you may not recognize Geoff with the short hair he had back then!
This is essentially a Cliff Notes version of the movie. You say you like musicals, have you ever seen the original The Music Man? The man who voiced Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Buddy Hackett has a major part in that movie. He's hilarious.💙
@@MrsRealistic I think you'd really like it. Just make you watch the original version with Robert Preston, not the iffy remake with Matthew Broderick. I mean, I love Matthew, but the character calls for an older, more mature man.💙
As a fan of Disney (some parts) and VoicePlay, all I can say is 🥰 Scuttle the seagull is kinda similar to the albatrosses Orville from The Rescuers, and Wilbur from The Rescuers Down Under. Flotsam & Jetsam always remind me of an old hard rock band by that name I used to listen to as a teen. Speaking of VoicePlay, "In the Hall of the Mountain King" is a blast ruclips.net/video/Y2a5v26q1AM/видео.html

Thank you! I haven't seen wicked, but I doubt that matters when it comes to the enjoyment factor!
@@MrsRealistic It never does with VoicePlay. 🙂I'm not a gamer but absolutely love all of their video game music covers.

Haha! My husband would never sit through a musical 😄

Couldn't agree more! 👏 😊

Moana is a FANTASTIC movie... but unless you have kids, it's probably not as fun to watch. 😄
The voice play version is very good @@MrsRealistic

Fun fact - the last "sing it with me know" low voice is J.None, which is why Geoff looks confused and looks back at J.None
Ha ha! A little Easter Egg!
I did not know that!

I never would have guessed she was pregnant! I remember someone mentioning something about her playing Ariel! How perfect!

I really don't know how to describe ur giggles.. but I'm so in love with them that's for sure❤❤
I thank you for putting the full screen up of the videos. I very much enjoy your reactions. Especially the Voice Play ones
Glad you like them! Thanks for the comment!
👏👏👏👏👏 .... Thanks for sharing some of your memories. .
Love that this brought back memories for you - it's one of my favourite medleys of theirs! 🥰
It was truly fantastic!
Geoff is the Ursula we never knew we needed.
Rachel actually has been Ariel before in other work.

love this one, so funny!
Rachel just started her own channel, too. This is such a fun video! They did so many Disney videos! Thanks for this one 😊
You are so welcome!
Rachel Potter is fantastic. She’s currently starring on Broadway as Wednesday in the Addams Family musical

2 vids 1 day spoiling us
I try to do 2 a day now...occasionally I bite it LOL!
Geoff reads the original on his channel.
Rachel Potter has the perfect Disney Princess voice. Moana next please.
Yay! I look forward to it!
