What is Schema Therapy? Are compassion and self-compassion a part of Schema Therapy? Is the Compassionate Self in Compassion Focused Therapy the same as, or a subset of, the Healthy Adult Mode in Schema Therapy?
Shay Addison is a psychologist and director of the Forensic + Clinical Psychology Centre in Brisbane Australia. She has been a psychologist for over 20 years and has worked in custodial and community corrections since the mid-90s, especially taking a schema therapy approach to her work.
Dr Lars Madsen is Clinical Director of the Forensic and Clinical Psychology Center and is an industry leader in forensic psychology, bringing schema therapy to forensic populations in his work as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and trainer.
