How can I be a strong leader, and a compassionate one? How can I compassionately motivate people to work towards shared goals? How can I bring courage, curiosity and love into my leadership roles? How can I have the difficult conversations, but also stay true to my values around compassion and treating others the right way?
Laura Berland and Evan Harrel are Founder and COO respectively of The Center for Compassionate Leadership in New York State. They bring the skills of compassionate engagement and action to organisations, teams and individuals through their Compassionate Leadership Certification Training. They teach others how to be strong and powerful, but non-aggressive and non-violent in their leading others...how to do hard things in a human way.
Be inspired by this conversation, where we explore what it is to be a compassionate leader, and some of the examples from around the world: Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandella, Malala Yousafzai, Jacinda Ardern...people who can inspire us to bring compassion to our corporate cultures in our own ways for profound benefits.
