Knitting a Victorian Spiderweb Shawl | Relaxing Creation Vlog 🕸️

Hello friends, my apologies for such a long gap between videos. I have started filming a few different ones and ran into some issues so I thought putting together a creative vlog would be fun. I love the process of creating in any way shape or form. I love having a unique idea or spin I want to put on something, making things from scratch, and designing my own things but I also just as much enjoy following patterns, enjoying the work of other creators, and taking the time to relax with a new project.
Since last October when I knitted my Ugly Halloween Sweater • Knitting an Ugly Hallo... I have been on a knitting rampage. I learned to knit in elementary school and for years of my adulthood have cast it to the wayside ignorantly assuming there weren't things I could make that I would actually enjoy making. Ah, foolish mortal. Thankfully I have recently discovered the beautiful world of vintage knitting and have thrown myself head first into various patterns, the enjoyment, and education of vintage knit garments.
In lieu of this, I thought it would be a great idea to knit this beautiful Shawl. I found this via Susan Crawford's Instagram page, one of her designs called the Victorian Pennies Shawl. I fell madly in love with it the moment I saw it. Firstly, because I have been wanting to knit a Victorian shawl as I love Victorian clothing, decor, and history, and secondly because it looks like a spiderweb.
