It's interesting how you slipped Printify in so it doesn't look like the sponsor. They are a good company. I didn't learn anything from this though. What I need to know is EXACTLY how you'd do SEO for at least 5 designs for each product that people actually sell. 5 T-shirt designs with full title and tags 5 mug designs with full title and tag 5 whatever designs with full title and tag Be the guy who actually gives useful SEO tips without glossing anyone over or pushing them to a course. Too many RUclips creators give only cursory tips on SEO. If it's that important and they are so good at ETSY and SEO then they should teach it more completely on RUclips.
Hello Alek, I just wanted to reach out and say ‘hi’! I’ve been watching lots of your RUclips videos and have a quick question for you, regarding setting up a Printify and Etsy accounts. You mention in the PDF something to the effect about the Etsy account setup, “If you do this, your account will more than likely be suspended..” I didn’t see that until I had already completed my account setup. Can you tell me what triggers Etsy, to suspend an account? My account was opened successfully on Friday, all the verifications completed successfully and my account was suspended the next day. When I filed an ‘Appeal’, they responded stating that they can’t tell me why but my account was suspended. Have you seen this before? Any suggestions? Thanks! Marty
You've mentioned on several videos that you must target your products toward Etsy buyers, the Etsy "avatar", for instance, instead of the ebay buyer. But you don't explain what this is. I'm just starting and I want to avoid this mistake but I need some definition. Thanks.
Do you have a separate bank account for each store front? No one ever talks about how they structure their PoD businesses. Do you have everything owned under one company name/LLC or do you split business ownership with the whole Brand company, Holding Company and Trust company model? If you do split them, do you have a different bank for each?
Hey Alek, gerat videos! Love all the detail and the easy layout we can all follow. What is your suggestion / how do you think I should reach out to Etsy Stores or people who want to do print on demand selling? I want to compete with Printful ( I own all the machinery to print tees) and help Etsy store owners make more money from their print on demand stores.
I started my Etsy shop in Feb 2024, have about 189 listings and have gotten 12 sales so far, so I am optimistic. I am just trying to wrap my head around the logic of 4000 listings: If I have 4000 listings live, I would essentially be paying $200 a month to keep those listings live on Etsy ($0.20 per listing per quarter, so $0.05 per listing per month). Would it be safe to assume that I could make more than $200 in profit (after all the Etsy fees, transaction fees, relisting fees, etc.) with that amount of listings? The reason I ask this is because currently I have 189 listings but out of the 12 sales, 9 of them have been from one design, which gets pretty much all the views and clicks. From the stats, pretty much all the others listings don't have views or clicks. What would be your guys' advice on this? This goes out to @Alek or anyone else. Thanks in advance :)
Analyse what it is, that is making that one listing successful. Is it the product type itself, the design or colours of it? Or is it your tags and description? Is it because it has a high search volume, and low competition? Try and replicate that same listing in different ways. Different colours, or use the design on other products, in different sizes, with different words? Replicate and test
when you make 50k and look back when you made 4k then it is/seems easy... 🤔🤷♂️ same thing when you learn cycling - seems impossible, but later when you do racing through the forests or mountains then you'd say "learning to cycle was soooo easy"... 😉
You are delusional that comparisson is nonesense to make consistant sales it takes one years minimum also etsy traffic not even enough you need social media traffic@@peteroz7332

You guys telling everyone to start listing hundreds or thousands of listing has totally RUINED anyone's chance at print on demand. It's is so flooded and over saturated with junk, it's almost impossible for new sellers to even be found. Ironically although you were probably trying to help, you guys ended up running it on etsy for everyone unless your shop is old and established.
Once anything is being spruiked on youtube, the niche has jumped the shark. I imagine Alek saw that there was a ceiling to potential earnings with POD and squeezed as much juice out of the berry as was possible. Had to diversify so it became about selling the knowledge and secrets. Diluting the market by encouraging tens of thousands to jump into the pool, would be bad business. Alek is a sharp cat and diversifying is the move.
Hello, ive been watching your videos along with others and have opend up shop. But before i start uploading my designs i wanted to know what happens if my bank account does not have enough money in it to front the cost of x amount of orders? Say i only have $100 and am selling products at $30. When 4 products have been orderd and cost $120, what heppends?
Alek, a sincere question. Why are you doing a youtube channel? You've made so much money doing your design work, so what's the point of doing this channel?? Serious question
@@danimotherofchickens479 According to Alek, who I think is amazing btw, he has made millions already. And if he has thousands of products already designed and "live" on shopify and etsy, then he is making some serious passive income. You'd have to make a lot of money doing youtube videos, which takes time and effort, to justify doing it. It doesn't make sense at all and I would love to be edified on this and how my perspective could be incomplete. But I suppose its just an additional revenue stream. If it's just to make more money, then fair enough. I guess it's a similar theory to the POD theory, creating a voluminous amount of content that sits here forever gaining views and consequently, subscribers as well as selling more product, courses, consulting and other serendipitous opportunities that come along as a result of the gravitational pull of all of this. Anyway as far as the content goes, like the POD, it all becomes passive income down the road.

Thank you for sharing your printify uploaded tool, however I have some feature requests and bugs I want to mention. Letters like äöü cannot be in the title. The program throws an error. I’m from Germany and we use these characters. I cannot upload high quality images. The program also throws an error. The uploaded images are not correctly aligned. After uploading I have to manually adjust every image. (The image size is the same as the selected template. When uploading by hand on printify the image perfectly fits… I don’t know why it doesn’t fit when I use your uploader.
