It's 5 days after Christmas is over and the end of this video has put me in more of Christmas spirit than I have been in years and such a beautiful message at the end with all the hate in the world these days its become downright depressing nice to hear some young people talk like this.
Couldn’t wait for the new video. Great to see you have a 54 Chevrolet and everything worked out that Car is a runner and hopefully we see more of it on your great show. Happy holidays merry Christmas.
This was a really fun episode that I’ll have to watch a few times because it was fun and the banter between you both is great! That Chevy wanted to be rescued and was freezing as much as you both were. Sure hope y’all had a wonderful Christmas and wishing Y’all and Blessed New Year.
Soooo glad for a new video. Winding down my Sunday and feeling uneasy about the ending of the year/start of the week. Nice to relax and just dissolve into some comedy and mechanical know-how. Will always be a supporting follower.🤙🏾
1. I'm crackin up! The innuendo's in this episode are off the chart! 😂👍 2. The oil cannister I believe on some vehicles was maybe a slightly larger canister, and if you didn't have a replacement filter, a roll of toilet paper fit in their perfectly for a filter. No kiddin'...
My first car was a 54 Chevy. Unfortunately i never got it running. So it was the one that got away. Really enjoyed seeing you guys get this old Chevy going.
My folks owned a '54 Belair back when I was 4-5 years old. Obviously, I was too young to appreciate it. I knew this was a '54 by the number of vertical fins in the grill.
Wow!! another great video. The car looks cool as hell with the christmas lights. You guys have good times with these cars and i love watching it. Happy Holidays!! Guys!!
That's a great old 4 door. I'd say you need to add a set of fender skirts and some lowering blocks in the rear. A 235 was one of the best and most dependable engines. Hope you guys had a great Christmas. Keep the videos coming.
@ I live in Northern Alberta. If my toes freeze it’s my fault. Fingers covered in diesel or two stroke fuel trying to fix my old junk-they gonna freeze.
Awesome show you guys..... any car from the /50's in that shape is worth while...four door or not.... If I wasn't in Canada I would be trying to buy that from you guys.... My parents had a /53 Chev Convertible when I was a kid.... keep up the good work...love watching your show....Merry Christmas....Cheers
Nice work again boys! Thank you for not boring me with another how to fix the brakes video 😂 they can just google that shit and watch one of the million videos on how to do it
I used to love the 235 in my numbers matching barn find 1961 Chevy impala four door flat top. It got around 20-25 mpg until it decided to throw a rod and it drove another mile towards home until the rod caught the crank and snapped it clean in half.
I like old car and truck because my dad used have old car and truck to. Today it's hard to buy any old car and truck. That's way watch you and the guys working on them. God Bless 🙏 you and your crew. From Jim and is family to
The car’s name is Taz for the air freshener hanging from the mirror. Also the front seat has to be out of a Chevelle or Monte Carlo. Great Videos New to the channel Thank You 🙏
The ol girl is cool 4 door or not. The Mustang rebuild on the engine would be cool to watch. It good to see you rehome the old cars for others to finish and enjoy is awesome!
Great episode and a great car! How about patch the holes in the body, buff out the paint that is on it and a good wax application and, most of all, do a hot rod build on that 6 cylinder. In other words, do an authentic ‘50s hot rod treatment on her (extra doors notwithstanding)! Just my $0.02. Dr. D
YES! i wanna see this one again. it is way go good to not continue with it. and yet another example of why the inline 6 engine is about the best engine ever produced...
A "6v to 12v conversion resistor resettable" refers to a circuit component, typically a combination of resistors, designed to increase a 6 volt power source to 12 volts, with the added feature of being able to "reset" the circuit to its original state, usually by manually adjusting a variable resistor within the design. Key points about this concept: Voltage Boosting: The primary function is to take a lower voltage (6v) and raise it to a higher voltage (12v) using a resistor network. Resettable Feature: Unlike a simple resistor divider, a "resettable" design incorporates a variable resistor that allows the user to fine-tune the output voltage within a certain range, potentially adjusting it back to the original 6v if needed. Potential Applications: Vintage Car Conversions: When upgrading a classic car from a 6v electrical system to 12v, a resettable resistor circuit can be used to power older 6v gauges without damaging them by providing a lower voltage output when needed. Testing Equipment: In situations where you need to test a device with a variable voltage supply, a resettable 6v to 12v converter could be useful. How it Works: Basic Resistor Divider: A basic voltage divider circuit consists of two resistors in series, with the desired output voltage taken from the junction between them. Variable Resistor Addition: To make it "resettable," one of the resistors in the divider network is replaced with a variable resistor, allowing the user to adjust the voltage output by changing its resistance value. Important Considerations: Power Rating: The resistors used in the circuit must be chosen with a high enough power rating to handle the current draw of the device being powered. Accuracy: The precision of the voltage output will depend on the quality of the variable resistor and the circuit design

Next time put a air compressor pushing air into the tire while trying to blow it back on the bead. Just a food for thought there! Happy new years good video!
If that car was produced in late 1954 the rear motor mounts were upgraded and the frame to except a V 8 engine because late 1954 Chevrolets had a first chevy V 8, it was the 265 ci engine
If the car is pre-1970 I really don't care if it's a four-door, they are history that they won't make again, I just picked up a beautiful 1949 rocket 88 futuramic in great shape, no rust, and still has the original paint looks great, and it runs,.
