Sample Processing

This video explains how patient samples are processed for Electron Microscopy. The term ‘Tissue processing’ refers to several stages that are taken to prepare the samples for suitability in the Electron Microscope, this includes methods that preserve and chemically alter the tissue. The types of tissue that are used in this process include kidney, muscle and nerve biopsies.
